Mondo Café

Great food, great service. Everything we ordered was delicious, first place in Oaxaca where we liked the coffee. Everything is prepared once ordered, so it takes time but it is well worth it.

First time at this cafe (near the Jardin Conzati). The indoor part of the cafe is a bit small, but there is a pleasant garden where I sat for breakfast. I need to walk with a rollator, which makes maneuvering around Oaxaca City a challenge; and this cafe is no exception regarding accessibility. However, the staff is very helpful and considerate — even setting up a table in the garden for me so that I would not need to navigate more stairs. The food and service is excellent, not to mention the beautiful garden space, well worth the extra effort on my part to eat here. I had an omelette with salad and an Americano coffee — both very good.

Really tasty avo, eggs and toast. Closest I’ve had to my Aussie regular. With the addition of a nice salsa. Beautiful surrounds to enjoy breakfast too.

Looooove this cafe! They take such pride in their food and coffee. The fruit salad had mango, watermelon, papaya, bananas, grapes and cantaloupe. Coffee was delicious.

Also an adorable place to sit and chill!!! I love it.

Great breakfast (I got an extra egg on the fruit pancakes), great sized portions, great prices, great music/atmosphere and the staff are extremely friendly; they seem like best friends enjoying life. Exactly what I wanted for my last morning in Oaxaca City. Cash only.

Best coffee I’ve tried in México yet. (I’ve in México for 15 day’s now and visited 9 different cities). So let me tell you their breakfast is good, but the coffee is better. And for those oat milk lover’s they got it for you!

Wonderful cafe. It's below the street so it feels like a little hideaway. Coffee is excellent, food is excellent and they make a fantastic mocha. Prices are great for being in the old town area. Very friendly owners and staff. Owners speaks English. Good place to read or bring out the laptop and get some work done.

Great chai latte and the season pumpkin pie was delicious! Great music playing all the time as well, and now they have a new outdoor seating area which is very nice!

by far our favourite place for breakfast in Oaxaca! food and drinks (we had coffee and juices) are amazing. don‘t miss it when in Oaxaca! highly recommended.

Literally the best cappuccino and espresso in Oaxaca. Great place to work with your laptop and enjoy some nice hot beverages. And yes - amazing pastries cooked in house (i will not recommend any particular, because you just have to try them all). They even bake their own bread (i was very tired of mexican soft white bread, so having a lump of multigrain freshly baked bread was a miracle).
P.s. also guys organize “english speaking chess club” on Saturdays at 13:00 :)

Best cappuccino in town!! I love this place. The staff knows their stuff and are super friendly. It's a nice place to hang out, and their wifi is strong if you'd like to get some work done. Recommend!!

Came for an afternoon coffee and discovered their Oaxacan chocolate mocha after chatting with the owner (who speaks English!). What a treat! I got mine with coconut milk, but they also have almond milk for those who can’t do dairy. Came back for the hot version one morning and to get some work done and was met by another friendly person working there. Highly recommend this cafe!

Sweet little spot for breakfast, delicious coffee and great, simple, healthy food. Young owner very friendly and accommodating. This place is worth supporting!

280 pesos for awesome pancakes and a nice egg toast as well as two lemonades and two coffees. Friendly waiters and well-prepared food. We’ll be back.

Definitely the best coffee I've had in Oaxaca so far, and I've tried quite a few places.

Excellent drinks (here is the cortado) and nice atmosphere. A different cake every day, unfortunately we were not able to try it!
