Paprika Mexican & Caribbean kitchen

There were six of us who enjoyed an early dinner in March 2024. A small menu, but a nice range of choices, including drinks and desserts if you want. The chicken and fish were top notch. Great service and great cooking. Generous portions. Open air seating . Nothing fancy.

Fresh food full of flavor! The staff was very kind, fluent in English. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had guacamole, steak fajitas, coconut shrimp and homemade coconut ice cream.

We went here multiple days after a dive (right across the street from the dive spot!). The service, drink and food was perfect every time. Pricing was more than fair for the area.

Update 30.11.2023 came back hands down still absolutely amazing new guy here Mr carlos took amaizng care of us. Food is amazing here people are very nice and hear to serve. See you soon again!

Yes.... yes... yes... take me back please. Okay first off we was at an other establishment we decided to come here. Everything and I mean Everything was absolutely phenomenal! Thank you so much Julio! You guys do this business so well!

I had the chicken enchiladas mole and my wife had the fish sandwich. Food was excellent. Service was friendly. Ocean view is limited because the restaurant is on the East side of the street. Whoever was complaining about the price hasn't eaten at one of the Cozumel resorts lately. I'd definitely come back.

The prior reviews are spot on! Service, quality and portion size are all top notch. This is definitely great food at a good price. The Gucamolito is a huge portion, well seasoned and topped off with grated cheese and toasted pumpkin seeds. The Mariscado is filled with fresh seafood. The broth is very flavorful. The fajitas were almost enough for two. The surroundings are definitely an island vibe and the service is great! The lime coconut margarita is very tasty!

Me entrè was so bomb! I got fresh catch of the day, which was a grouper, and it was delish! Mango salsa was a great touch and added some great flavor to an already well
seasoned filet. Rice and plantains were a great side and balance overall.

Very good food at reasonable prices just far enough from the port tourists. Our mole enchiladas and tacos Baja (fish) were delicious. Margaritas were generous and tasty too.

Everyone here is so friendly. We were here in Jan and we were so excited to return. Food was still delicious. Prices were decent. Portions are good.

Great experience at Paprika! Azalea, our server, was amazing. I had the enchiladas de mole, wife had the shrimp quesadillas. Guacamole was fresh and delicious. You have to try the mezcal drink. Really good. It's only a 10 min walk from the cruise port

This was a nice find for us as it was walking distance from our hotel. Food was A++++. Out server was beyond sweet and her name was Azalea and really took care of us! Their mango margaritas were 👨🏻‍🍳 💋 as well as their Golden Margaritas! Coconut shrimp and the fish tacos were incredible!!

Family went around 3:30 pm and no one was their. Seating is only outside. It’s not a big place but spacious. Service was good and the food was great. I recommend it. Burgers are delicious.

Azaela was amazing! We stayed at a hotel around the corner and ate here three times during our stay. She went above and beyond by making sure my birthday dinner was extra special.

The food at the restaurant is very tasty. I highly recommend the guacamole and fish tacos. They also have great margaritas and old school glass bottle cokes.

Paprika has THE BEST fish tacos on the island! The staff is friendly and remembers us every time we return for more fish tacos! The French fries are fried to perfection, and the coconut ice cream is delicious!

I started with a coconut lime Margarita that had a candied lime wheel and freshly grated coconut. She asked me if it was strong enough and I said yes; but she insisted on bringing me a shot of tequila on the side so I took it. It was so good you couldn't even taste the alcohol after I added it. The food is incredibly fresh. Just have to come here. It's a little bit out of the touristy spot but not too far to walk. It's across the street from the Atlantis submarine.
They close at 4 so don't wait too long to come here.

Awesome spot away from downtown Cozumel. The fish tacos were delicious. The food was a little pricey compared to other restaurants but the food was still worth it.

Stopped here for a late lunch after diving one day. Got the nachos, fish of the day, and was couple of margaritas. All was great. Guacamole was particularly good! Service was fantastic, and our server was able to give some recommendations of places to check out around the island which we really appreciated. Atmosphere is super comfortable and clean.

Update: visited Cozumel 2 years later, and after a week of eating across the island we determined that Paprika has the absolute best food on the island. Guacamolita is to die for. Cocktails are spectacular. Fish tacos are spectacular.

Great food. Service was amazing. Prices are decent. Which is surprising because they are very close to the cruise ships. The view is nice. Some choices for Vegans.

The food was fresh and absolutely amazing! Shrimp stuffed poblano and one of the fish tacos (shared with my friend) and then caramelized pineapple and Gelato for dessert. Horchata to wash it all down... give them a try!

It is worth the walk from the all of the expensive shops and restaurants in the port area. We walked about a 1/2 mile to Paprika. I was able to have some amazing guacamole, a Mojito, and two beers for under 20 bucks. Would definitely return.
