Playa Mia Grand Beach Park

Went for a cruise excursion. Unfortunately it rained a lot and the beach wasn't able to be accessed. Outside of this uncontrollable circumstance, the service was amazing. The staff was constantly encouraging use of the open bar and buffet. The slides and kid area was so fun. The infinity pools were heated. The staff honestly was so friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated them so much. The buffet had a mix of American and some authentic Mexican food. (I stuck to the authentic food). The tortillas, beans and meat were delicious. I would love to return on a not so rainy day to experience this full park.

We booked this while on a cruise and it was perfect! The inflatable water park held our kid's (ages 12, 11, 8) attention for pretty much the whole time! They loved it!! The food was surprisingly good and the mocktails were delicious. We will definitely be back!!

The beach is gorgeous. We also had a lesson on salsa making and a class in dancing salsa. It was a wonderful time. The person who teaches the class in both was the same person, and he had us singing. Taking about ourselves and our lives. It was a great excursion. They have a pool, though the ocean was crystal clear. They also have a pool and adventures for the kids.

We love going to Playa Mia. We have younger kids, less than 8, and there are plenty of things they can do. They love the water park area and slide. The obstacle course is fun, but a little too difficult for them. The food is always great. We order off the menu, not the buffet, and the prices are great and food is fantastic. We recommend to any friends going to Cozumel that have young kids.

The kids love this place! The floating park was definitely not for my 3 kids. They were SCARED. Lots of adult fun on that though. The best part was the 200ft slide. I can't believe how many times my kids went up and down that thing! Such a nice adventure. Glad we didn't purchase the eating pass, by the time we got tired and hungry, it was time to go!

One of the few "beaches" with sand so you can swim, use water toys, or just lounge in the sun. There are several of these full service, paid beaches in cozemel, but this one from experience is the has the most to offer for the price.

Well worth it for one day to enjoy a fun in the sun and give a whirl on their floating wipe out course or enjoy some water slides by the sea.

We visited over the weekend while on our cruise. They have a lot of amenities & activities you can choose from, like jet skis & water bicycles. The staff is nice along with the cab drivers. Bring cash of course if you want to $tip.

We booked the snorkeling and beach park through a local travel agent. Due high winds we were not able to go to El Cielito but we were taken to do snorkeling at Paraiso. It was absolutely amazing. We were on Aqua Dream 5 with Captain Jose and guide Luis. I am not a strong swimmer and I was a little hesitant to do the snorkeling. The catamaran was very clean and the crew was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area. To snorkel at the second largest coral reef in the world was the most amazing experience of my life. Saw so many fish and the coral reef had the most beautiful colors. The water was the most beautiful and clear I have seen in my 50+ years. Luis was awesome and encouraging and I felt very safe. After a second snorkeling session we made our way to Playa Mia Beach Club for lunch. The buffet food choices were plenty and the food was delicious. The beach area was clean and there was plenty of seating available both at the restaurant and at the beach. Since sunscreen is not permitted I would highly recommend wearing a rash guard shirt to prevent sunburn. I would do it all over again if possible.

Playa Mia is a quick drive from the cruise port. Took about 15min by taxi. There they have a restaurant, 2 pools, a water obstacle course, kayaks, jetski, water bikes among other water sports. The umbrellas, locker and towels are available for a fee but we had it included in our package that we bought at the port. The water slides section is also included. They do have additional things available for a fee such as the cocoa factory and the cooking course. They also have vendors trying to sell massages but they don't bother you once you say no.
We were the only cruise do ked that day so the beach did not feel full. The beach is beautiful. Enjoy!

We booked an excursion here from our cruise for the cooking class. It was so fun, and the food was great! After we did some shopping and swam in the beach. The water was crystal clear, and there are great shops to visit! I would definitely recommend stopping here if you're in Cozumel!

My husband and I had the opportunity to visit here during an excursion from our cruise. This resort is amazing. The service is spectacular. The food was beyond delicious. You’ve got the crystal clear water or the crystal clear pools. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained by staff. This resort also offered WIFI access that was very much appreciated. There was a beach side bar service that we absolutely loved. 10/10 highly recommend. Would absolutely go back again. Worth every single penny!

Simply amazing! The beach and the water were beautiful. The people were amazing and friendly. Great time and amazing vacation.

Went on a cruise excursion - it was wonderful. Tons of people but did not seem crowded at all. Very well done and managed. tons of waitstaff to take drink orders. Open lunch buffet. Huge pool with slides for the kids and another pool with lounges. Beach is well equipped with designated swimming area and jet skis, paddle boats, etc. tons of chairs and staff to help with umbrellas and drinks. Highly recommend for a relaxing, inexpensive cruise excursion. (Would be contingent on the weather!)

We visited last week on an excursion booked through Disney Cruise Line. We only had about 90 minutes here, which really wasn't sufficient; you could easily enjoy a full day here. We had our two year old with us and he LOVED their splash pad. It was the best kid's splash pad I've ever seen. We walked along the beach, which was nice, and looked at the inflatable water park they had (looked so fun, but didn't get to utilize.) We did not try any of the food, because there wasn't enough time, but they had both a buffet option and served option. They also had a lot of shops as you enter, which was nice.

Staff were pleasant and the facility was well maintained. Only bummer was it was super packed and we didn't have enough time to enjoy it! We'd definitely visit here again if we find ourselves in Cozumel in the future!

Constant cleaning makes it perfect. Two pools and a splash pad and a fantastic inflatable climber pyramid 100 yds offshore. Tons of fun for all day.

All inclusive resort with nice beaches, clean pools, plentiful food, and drinks. This is our second (of many) visits.

Absolutely LOVE Playa Mia! So happy that Royal Caribbean has this as an excursion. This company goes above and beyond for their guests which is why we always come back every year. The food was delicious, especially the fresh watermelon. The drinks were cold and very good. My grandson loved the children’s area, there is so much to do for everyone. Can’t wait to come back!!!!

While on a cruise we went here on a land excursion. We loved it. Great buffet and open bar. Wait staff never let my drink get empty. Covered dining area and we went to the sandy beach and they set us up under umbrellas with a table for our drinks and the drinks kept coming. I didn't want to leave. It is a small section of beach but we loved it. White sand beach.
Beautiful water. Highly recommend.
