Blue Angel Restaurant

Another beautiful sunset in Cozumel. This higher end beach restaurant has some very interesting dishes especially if you are vegetarian/vegan. The tortilla soup I had was fabulous as was the flatbread that was piled with cheese and vegetables. My daughter’s vege lasagna was fantastic as well. Combined with great views, service and drinks it’s pretty much a guaranteed nice time.

Lion fish is on the menu.

Amazing food. The BEST fish taco I've ever had - Lionfish Taco. The guacamole is fantastic. Everything on the menu is fresh & well prepared. The staff are friendly & very knowledgeable. My favorite place to eat on the island.

What a beautiful location. Good fast service, with delicious food. The ceviche was delicious, but tasted like pico de gallo with steamed shrimp. The shrimp was not marinated. Still delicious! The chicken quesadilla was also very tasty. It had a good bit of chicken and the cheese was pouring out of it. The quesadilla came with pico, a small side of really good guacamole, and some creama. The lemonade with soda was one of the best on the island. Not as big as other places, but the citrus flavor was on point! The location was great. Beautiful views and there is an Oxxo right out front to get anything you need on the way back to wherever you’re staying.

We ending up returning to the blue angel to have another fabulous meal. The shrimp risotto was the best dish so far of the trip. We also caught another beautiful sunset on their deck.

You do not need to be a guest to eat here and this location has some great views of the ocean. I went to this location 3 times and tried the burger, fajitas and then the enchiladas. I also fell in love with there version of the carrot cake. The atmosphere here is great on a calm day / night. When it is windy, they put up some "blockers" to keep the area open and maybe it gets a little cold but still loved it. I also don't know from where but very loud birds are here as well. I loved it but I can see some people finding it distracting.

The food is delicious. The wait staff is courteous and attentive. You get a fabulous view of the ocean while you eat. If you time it just right, you can watch the sun set during dinner. The prices are fair when you factor all of the above into the equation.

Cool place, with tropical ambience. Chilaquiles that most of us ordered were tasty and served fast. People over there are friendly. Such a pity that they keep this plastic curtain, because the views over there are astonishing. Nevertheless recommend.

The food was spectacular, service was great, and the views/vibes were amazing! We watched the sun set with the live music and it was breathtaking.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! The location is super cute and small and handled our group of 15 like it was nothing! We made reservations ahead of time and they were well prepared for us. The staff greeted us by name with enthusiasm and we had tasty drinks within minutes. The server split our checks like a pro and knew us by name after the first round - even though we all moved around during our meal.

Our food was cooked to perfection and came in a timely matter - very impressive considering the size of our group!

The live music that night was beyond amazing! She (I'm still trying to find her name) had a soulful voice and each song had our entire group dancing, clapping, and singing along.

Shortly after we got our entrees, the restaurant lost power but that didn't bother anyone! The staff busted out candles and our group added some flashlight ambiance. Somehow the power outage made the evening even better.

Our entire group left feeling like family with full bellies. I cannot recommend this place enough - it is a MUST!

Breathe taking views, wonderful staff, delicious food and amazing drinks. My only regret is not staying at their resort. They even cooked the fish we caught on our fishing trip earlier that day. We ate hear on many different occasions during our trip.

After living here for over six years, I can’t imagine why I haven’t been to The Blue Angel Restaurant before! Some friends came to visit and asked me to join them. Wow! The view was stupendous, the service was fantastic, the mojitos were incredibly delicious…and the food…OH the food! I chose fried calamari and onion rings for an appetizer (shared with my friends) and mummy shrimp for the main course. I’ve had mummy shrimp tacos at other restaurants on the island, but these were huge shrimps wrapped in bacon with sweet cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, asparagus and greens that complemented the shrimp and bacon. Absolutely fabulous! I will be back and bring other friends to The Blue Angel Restaurant every chance I get.

The food ,drinks, and service were awesome! Carlos was our waiter and he was super friendly. Food came out fast and was delicious. The views are breathtaking and there was a band that played a good variety of music.

of food options with some American style food, including two Italian dishes and pancakes, french toast and even eggs Benedict for breakfast. Be careful though, the Eggs benny is serviced with mushrooms.

It is an amazing restaurant, super relaxed, with beautiful sea view. The food and drinks are amazing. The prices are good, not too pricy and not very cheap. Very good price/quality. The waiters are super friendly and the service is quick. We came hier three times, in the afternoon/dinner for happy hour and food, so that says all to me! 😁😍 happy hour is from 16-18:30 and you get 2 cocktails for 120pesos and 2 starters for 14 dollars. 🥳🥂🔝

Great place and ambiance, also possible to eat on the patio of hotel. We had Burgers, cevice, catch of the day and all where great at two occations.

Fresh catch red snapper taken to blue angel restaurant (and resort) dive shop too for cooking 3 different ways with sides Of risotto and fresh vegetables. Atmosphere and food are so freaking good! We were in Cozumel for 4 nights and ate here for dinner 3 of those and wished we had, the night we didn't (we did go for drinks after our not so great dinner). It was much better than Casa Mision. Mision is cute but Blue Angel has much better food. And it's right over the water. Had the fig salad, steak quesadilla, mahi french style, lionfish french style, messy shrimp, alfredo fettuccine w chicken and mushrooms added and the pork chop. All were delish but the chop was out least fave. Sergio was our waiter most nights. He was very friendly and helpful with the menu. Gracias y hasta luego Sergio! Benji and Jenni ;)

it’s a brand new menu since last year. one of the best burgers in town, onion rings are great. I had a share plater to start with friends. everything is good, and live music most nights.

Enjoy spending time in Blue Angel as it's an amazing way to relax between the working shifts in silence. Nice local food in restaurant, friendly staff, pleasant and quiet atmosphere, access to the water for snorkeling or diving.

Food is absolutely amazing!! View is great and can see a clear sunset. Order arrived fast and staff was super friendly.
