Hacienda Uxmal Plantation & Museum

We spent three lovely nights here in early January. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The service was excellent and drinks by the pool were delicious. The location was perfect for enjoying Uxmal ruins and the Chocolate Museum. We thoroughly enjoyed the Mayaland properties. Thank you from The Archaeological Conservancy

We stayed one night in this hotel and if we knew that it was so good we would have organized the night of the next day differently. The setting is fabulous, with a beautiful tile floor. Our room was very large with two French beds, with huge windows overlooking the greenery. Truly gorgeous. The staff is very polite. Breakfast is not included in the price but you can choose the 18 euro "package" and really eat a lot (two sweet sandwiches, toast accompanied by a homemade papaya and cinnamon jam, fruit, a savory Yucatec dish) or you you can choose à la carte with a wide choice. The restaurant is closed during this period but there is bar service until 7pm. It was the most pleasant place of our holiday, very quiet and with very discreet staff. There is so much care that even the hygiene staff had simple traditional clothing. The only note was that the Jacuzzi in our room was a little old but the difference in a room without a Jacuzzi was 8 euros, so a very honest choice. Price for one night 125 euros. We need more Haciende Uxmal!

Wanted to enjoy a filling breakfast after visiting Uxmal. Greeted & helped by friendly staff. Ordered the breakfast package that came with fruit, bread, coffee, juice, & a breakfast entree. Food was really tasty.

This is a hotel and museum together. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night. The hotel has a very special charm, there are photos on the wall, that shows explorers who visited the hacienda in the 1800s. There were only a very few guests, but still the hotel were well maintained and perfectly clean. The dinner were in the Lodge at Uxmal, very good restaurant! You can pay with credit card. Highly recommend and not just for one night!

Fantastic stay! It’s such an oasis after busy Merida streets. Nature, trees, birds and cacao museum just next door! The rooms are a bit rustic which gives you more of an authentic feel and like you are a part of a “Night at the museum”. Well rested and Uxmal is just across the street! Thank you!

Very nice hotel walking distance to Uxmal. We spent two nights there as a family of 5. Rooms are spacious and clean, pool is nice and the food from the main restaurant was really good.

It's a quiet place in the middle of the jungle. It's a perfect spot in case you are looking for a nice hotel but not too touristic.

Kudos to the staff who were always kind and gentle and always having special attention for the kids.

One of the most amazing hotels I have ever seen, with amazing attention to detail, it is perfect in every way. I would have expected double price at this quality, so was pleasently surprised by it. The staff is wonderful, the food really great and it is so nice to just spend your day here, that we decided to cancel some other programs to stay here one extra day. Don't miss this opportunity!

What a gorgeous place! Fabulous grounds. Excellent service by all staff. Restaurant, indoors or outdoors, was superb. Waiters were extremely attentive and the shrimp dish I had was THE BEST shrimp dish I've EVER had! They earned their 5 star rating.

In fact Queen Elizabeth, Jackie O, Grace Kelly have all stayed at this hotel. The hotel sits on a plantation therefore they grow all of there own fruit and vegetables. You get to enjoy homemade breads and jams, fresh squeeze orange, lemon or pineapple juices.
It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the country setting. We spent 4 days here, the staff was so friendly and kind, we felt like family. To really appreciate what this hotel has to offer you must stay more than one day!

Beautiful. Fantastic sound of nature. Only the air ins are very old and loud. Switching your own off didn’t help because the neighbors aircon was running.

Food was nice (if a bit pricey) and the pool was very refreshing and cool. A great stop after a day full or exploring the archeology of the Puuc Valley. The rooms are very comfortable and reasonably spacious. The service is good and the hotel has a great historical vibe.

Absolutely beautiful spot to relax after day climbing steps of Uxmal. The pool was godsend after 38 degree temp! And so were the cocktails poolside.
Staff was courteous and helpful and dinner was in gorgeous setting outside. Thanks Nicolas and team for the hospitality. 🙏🏽

It was such a beautiful place over there. Very peaceful and relaxing and so well located (5 min walk to the ruins). We loved it there and even Grace Kelly has been there. The Hacienda has a long history and you really can imagine the colonial life there.

The hotel is very nice. And, you can just walk across the road to enter the Uxmal ruins, so it’s very convenient, too. I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Excellent rooms in a beautiful atmospheric hacienda. We stayed two nights and enjoyed visiting the route de Puuc and after relaxing by the lovely pool. The restaurant served tasty food, we can recommend the Capresse salad and fajitas

We loved our stay at the Hacienda Uxmal, a beautiful peaceful setting and great facilities. The highlight for us were the lovely and hardworking staff, they always went above and beyond and made the stay for us such a wonderful experience, they really care about their guests and it shows.

Kate has it wrong. I've been going to Hacienda Uxmal every few years since 1983. Its a beautiful place and some of us appreciate it's simplicity. Staff has always been great. (It might help if Kate would try a little harder to adapt to a different culture.) The best thing in the World is to turn off the AC (new in the last 15 years), and listen to the birds wake up. Its Wonderful.
It sounds like Kate needs to stay in Cancun.

Muy bonita. A great place to stay and explore near by the amazing uxmal Mayan archaeology site. Great people, great rooms and great good. Staff are attentive, knowledgeable and very kind.

Next door to uxmal and the chocolate museum. Also has a working agricultural fiction in the sane suite wirh available tires and so forth. A great bar adds bar fire puuc investigations.

Amazing authentic and tranquil hotel in the midst of nature. Genuinely nice staff and a great breakfast.

Ok...just got back from there. It was awesome if ur into history or architecture. Very pretty local and a no pressure mentality on selling stuff. Recommend the little restaurant they have. The homemade tortillas made my day. Plus just a shout out to Phillipe our guide. He was great.
