Panuchos with cochinita Pibil and empanada with cha ya cheese are must try! The flavor are so well balanced and it’s freshly fried! Pork in Yucatán style are also tasty.

They are a local restaurant with authentic Yucatán food.

Portions are large too! Horchata and Lima are also fresh and rich. Highly recommended.

Great local restaurant just a few minutes down the road from the Uxmal ruins. We ate here twice during our recent visit to Uxmal and had two great meals. If you haven't had the opportunity to try Mayan food this is a perfect place to sample some of the local cuisine. We had panuchos, cochinita pibil and chaya empenadas on our visits, and everything was delicious. The prices might seem a bit high, but the portions are large, so you won't leave hungry.

Quick and simple restaurant. Food was great. We had the Poc Chuc, Grilled Chicken and Chicken Fajita with Margarita

We were in a moderately sized tour group and stopped for lunch today. Service was friendly and food arrived fast considering the size of our group. The food they serve is fresh and delicious.

They have a hand washing site and bathrooms. We were even allowed to walk over and see the cooking pit; they cook their food in a traditional manner.

The only thing I cannot speak on is prices for food. Our tour price included our lunch here and we only had to pay for beverages, average prices.

Food was regional and delicious. The grounds around the restaurant included coconut, avocado, lime and lemon trees. Service as professional and well dressed. Restaurant was clean and unique.

Easy access from the road Uxmal-Merida.
Really tasty food and more than a friendly staff. It happened to be the only one at the time (quite early dinner), so people were super happy to show typical Yucatan food or products.

Great, albeit simple food, and very efficient service. We told our waiter we were in a hurry and we were out of there in 20 minutes. Good for large groups. Decent bathroom facilities.

Traditional Yucatan food cooked right here under earth. Delicious full meal, sopa de lima, and fresh tropical fruits as dessert in a nicely traditional decorated place with great staff. Especially, the boom shakalaka boom with 2-3 shots of tequila, you will not forget that all were included in price. Of course live music and dance are the final exit. Total 200 pesos.Enjoy it.

Definitely a Great restaurant. Cash only but not very expensive. Easy to find. We got there after Xumal closed. Big plates.

The food is cooked just like how Mayans would prepare their meals and the tortillas are hand made and are most extraordinary!
