Extremely friendly staff matched with excellent dishes made dinner here a wonderful experience. As a vegetarian, I didn't feel like I was missing out - quite the opposite! The experience is absolutely worth the walk through the rough building.

Drinks and food were really authentic and very good, and we were amazed with the staff, they were very friendly, especially our server Sandra 😊 Highly recommend stopping by! 👌🏼

Disregard how shaggy it looks, once you pass the back alley experience the food and service is amazing. Order the “Flores de Oaxaca” because they are extreamly good! Plenty of tasty vegetarian options.

Unexpectedly there was 1 super spicy chilli in the pickles. Otherwise just a great meal all round, lovely service. As a non alcoholic drink option, I'd highly recommend the horchata with cactus fruit snow. Such a great combination with little rockmelon pieces. Prices are on the higher side but to be expected for what you get. Wonderful experience thank you.

Oaxaca Te Amo is great place to visit! We were traveling with a group of six women. We loved it so much we returned 2 nights in a row! The drinks and food were excellent but best of all was our server Sandra Isaura who was AMAZING!! Definitely will be back!

Absolutely delicious food and the atmosphere was amazing! There was live music - absolutely incredible singer and band. Cocktails were great and Sandra was incredible!!! She was so informative, telling us about the origins of the food etc as well as recommending drinks. I speak little Spanish yet understood so much! Best night in Oaxaca!

Excellent food, the waiter was the most kind and sweet person ever. We took pictures of the sign some nights before they opened and then she invited us to come over for opening day and told us all about the good food they offer. In summary, the food was really good, the music was perfect and the whole atmosphere in general was relaxing and adequate for the place. They also have a terrace with live music on weekends that we went to as well. The cocktails and the music were good too.

Outstanding service on a beautiful rooftop with views of the cathedral. The food was delightful and the cocktails even better. I would come back just for our sweet server. Highly recommended.

The food and cocktails were by far the best we've had here so far! This is a hidden gem for the food and cocktails and highly recommend it!!! There's definitely a missed opportunity with the ambiance. There's a blank wall that would be great for a photo moment that they could market their restaurant with, as well. The lights were too bright, cafeteria style. I believe if they dimmed the overhead lights and added some uplighting around the perimeter it would improve the overall feel dramatically.

But once again, the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the drinks were outstanding!!

We had a lovely evening at Oaxaca te amo! The service is really good and if you're lucky you get to have a Nice conversation with Sandra! The food was amazing and the rooftop terraze was beautiful during the sunset. Very much recomended.

Literally Oaxaca te Amo was the only rooftop with availability. Our table was by the band about to play. OMG they were amazing.
Our server Olivia? was a gem as well.
Had tapas for snacks and some delicious mescaline cocktails.

I adored this place. The live band was excellent. The singer’s voice was ethereal. It wasn’t too crowded. It’s one of my favorite rooftops in Mexico. I highly recommend it.

Sandra is the best. She always gives good recommendation and her vibe is good. The place is well located and the food is great. Try the tasajo.
