Amazing tour and tour guide! Ramses was funny and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed my time here and I will definitely come back! The life vest doesn’t smell like dirty towel and the boat is very clean. It’s very convenient that there are clean bathrooms and shower available. Save some room for some tacos after the tour in the parking lot!

When I saw the reviews and pictures, I wasn't sure what to expect. Was I suprised when I made it out to the lake and saw and experienced the tour. You have to get in the water to appreciate the experience a little more thorough. The life vest are actually very good. I dont want to go into detail, because its really hard to explain the awesomeness of this experience, it's worth the trip and time!

Did the bioluminence algae tour. Great value and fun experience. Boat ride was worth the price!

Wow! If I can give more than 5 stars, I would! What an amazing experience with our tour guy Ramses. Ramses from Oregon is knowledgeable and so funny! He made our bioluminescent tour so much more enjoyable and fun! This experience was something out of this world. I highly recommend taking a tour at Costa Azul when you’re in Puerto Escondido!

Salomon was an AMAZING guide. He was not only super informed but he was also very funny.
We had an amazing time visiting the lagoon and enjoying the bioluminescence.

I took a tour with Edmundo after reading a review on a travel blog online. It was great. Took a collectivo from the centre of Puerto for 20 mxn, had some food a few doors down at Puesta del Sol (nice to eat there and watch the sunset).. then on to the boat.. I was the only one there so basically had a private tour for the same price. What I liked was thatEdmundo is very honest, he was telling me about how the amount of plankton in the lake can vary over the year and sometimes even week by week or day-to-day, and I get the impression from what he said if the amount of bio-luminescence was too low he wouldn't take people..as its not worth it. But I know other tours would probably take people just to take their money. So go with him! Also make sure to go either when its cloudy or there is no moonlight as it makes it harder to see

Just do it !!! (The full experience with dinner and all…). So worth it. So complete. You have to live it.

The tours they give are very beutifull and the service is wonderfull and are bilingual

Hernoso, aunque el olor (a azufre) es intenso, después hasta lo olvidas al admirar la naturaleza (fauna y flora)
Lleva un buen repelente para mosquitos, si está soleado mejor busca una embarcación techada ya que el recorrido no es corto.
Las lanchas podrían mejorar.
El tour con bastante información.
La bioluminiscencia es I M P R E S I O N A N T E aunque si quieres nadar en ella lo debes hacer bajando de la lancha en medio de la bahía (el agua está tibia) en completa obscuridad con chaleco salvavidas el cual es obligatorio durante todo el recorrido.
Muy recomendable y un tour que debes tomar si visitas Puerro Escondido.
Más el enorme plus de la liberación de tortugas recién nacidas durante la puesta de sol en la playa "virgen"

Hermosa playa para ver el atardecer, cerca hay zona de cocodrilos así que hay que respetar los espacios delimitados.

Excelente lugar, un servicio altamente recomendable, tienen un excelente trato, de mis lugares favoritos, el señor Edmundo tiene una gran calidez y su familia

Es un lugar hermoso, hay recorrido para ver aves, un pequeño restaurante en la playa y la bioluminicencia, es una experiencia inolvidable.

Una experiencia que hay que vivir, algo que no es común en México.... pueden solicitar el tour en Zicatela, Puerto Escondido y está desde trescientos por persona...

Obviamente más recomendable cuando no haya luna llena, increíble.

Súper tranquilo para ver una atardecer hermoso.

Nadar en medio de la laguna, a un kilómetro de la orilla, a media noche, a la luz de la luna, parecía una escalofriante película de terror que me encantó: un gran espectáculo la bioluminiscencia.

Hermoso para vistas y fotos extraordinarias. Bueno para relajarse
