Beautiful monument, originally "La Glorieta de los Niños Heroes", now "La Glorieta de los Desaparecidos".

A lot of traffic around this area, but adjacent to Avenida Chapultepec... Grab a cup of coffee and relax in the park like setting avenue, don't forget to take pictures.

The Monumento de los Niños Héroes is a monument located in Guadalajara, Mexico, that honors the six teenage military cadets who died defending the Chapultepec Castle in Mexico City in 1847 during the Mexican-American War. The monument is located in the Rotonda de los Jaliscienses Ilustres, a roundabout in Guadalajara. Now it is also a statement and reminder about the vanishing people in Mexico. Photos of many are surrounding the monument.

Long avenue of pavement for pedestrians and also chairs for people to hangout.. the avenue is about 10 blocks and it has individual monuments of the 6 children who fought the chapultapec castle in cdmx against invasion. At the end of the avenue there is monuments for all of the 6 young soldiers..

The avenue has bars and restaurants on either sides. On weekend local handicrafts market is available here
