City Market Plaza Patria

An amazing grocery store that is more luxurious than any I've seen in the States or UK. The experience starts with optional valet parking and continues with one stunning aisle after another. They offer fine wine tasting, a gelato bar, cafe, and more. They even sell Bebida Viva kombucha!

Hands down maybe the best grocery store i have ever visit. Shelfs fully stocked, a epic wine and liquor sortiment.
Fresh and nice meat and fish section.
Yes, its a bit pricy compared to othet stores, but it's actually fun going shopping here.

Great place to purchase groceries. Better selection than the regular grocery stores and better quality options. It’s very clean, very nice employees, more upscale I would say. They have a very nice bakery a coffee area and a dinning area where u can sit and order food. It’s just a great place, they also make homemade tortillas I think only on the weekends/not sure. They also deliver groceries directly through the store or via uber eats.

The delivery service is amazing, the employees that pick the order are awesome, you can opt to receive a call if any of your items are not available. They are cautious of what they pick, only quality items, not moldy, bruised etc… I received a call to let me know that the tomato box was not nice looking, it was crushed. They asked if I wanted them, I thought that was amazing that they didn’t just throw it in and call it a day. The first 3 times the delivery drivers didn’t take the stuff up to my condo which I was confused. That is not the service I expect! Anyway, now I am happier because I have had the same delivery driver the last 2 times and he has taken my groceries up to me. 👍

Also, keep in mind that the delivery is not always made within the time u pick, sometimes they are late due yo other deliveries.

I went exclusively for a certain bottle of wine they did not have in stock, but the kind and knowledgeable team in that department was able to help me find a similar wine. Although the price was marked incorrectly in the system, in this case under the suggested retail price, they were kind enough to respect the marked price. I will be purchasing my wine here as often as possible, especially because of their selection.

Very nice place with great selection, I was looking for some vegan cheese, vegan butter and some hummus... all in stock and then some. Fantastic place to pick up essentials while in Guadalajara.

This grocery store is the goat, this is probably the nicest grocery store I’ve been to in Guadalajara and it has one of the best wine selections I’ve ever seen in a grocery store, we go here whenever we can and it’s right in the middle of providencia

My kind of place. Very unique. There is a café and a gelateria. It also has a seafood / sushi bar, a huge selection of wines and you can drink it at their special cava.

Gelatería (ice cream place) of excellent quality!

Great store carrying almost any speciality food item you can think of. Their bakery have cakes that looks like works of art and they have a good selection of meats and other deli products.

The only downside is that some things can be a bit pricey, but that is to be expected with imported goods.

All-in-all a store I will definitely come back to!

I was missing and article in my delivery today and Mrs.Judith Cardenas Dominguez send it to me in less than an hour free of charge. Hats off! Excellent costumer service.

Is one of the nicest supermarkets you will probably encounter in the city. It has all kinds of foods, drinks, wines, coffee and many other things. Also all kind of price ranges. It's not something I personally would recommend as a tourist attraction or place you need to go. But if you're around and have nothing else to do you stop and see some expensive products.

The market is really nice with a lot of quality products. Inside the market there are two island food stands that you can eat at. The one I sat down at had more of a finger food menu. The items are very small but it was shockingly delicious.

City Market is a fresh of breath air. I grew up in an area of the US where they had one of the best grocery stores in the country (Wegmans). I wouldn't directly compare this place to Wegmans, however, the theme of the store was very nice and the store was very clean. The prices are very high but you are paying for what you get. I would recommend this grocer above other grocers in the metropolitan area. They have an extended amount of items in this store you wouldn't typically find. And a large array of items for those looking for more natural and organic products.

Great selection of high-end food. Reasonable prices for the quality. Hard to find types of meat (eg. Lamb) Great prepared desserts. AND they deliver.

The place is amazing. A true well stocked Supermarket with Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, array of wines and most foods.

It´s like going to Europe without passport, within Guadalajara. Clean, spacious, with a great variety of products. You can eat healthy right there, and skip the fast food places next door.
