I enjoyed my stay here. The staff is very friendly and courteous. I thought the price was very reasonable given the location and room was modern. The area is relatively quiet though half a block away from Avenida Chapultepec where it is more loud and lively. There is a 24 hour taco stand on the same block so that was convenient. There is also a bar across the street that stays open until like 4 AM but luckily I didn't hear any noise. The hotel also has a nice terrace where you can overlook the city on their nice patio furniture. They also have a gym. The restaurant had great food! I highly recommend the gorditas. The restaurant food was the best food I tasted on my trip to Guadalajara. The rooms are pretty modern, love the shower in the middle of the room with nice rainfall shower head, cable television, and it was clean. They also have bicycles you can use to go see the city. They also helped me get a taxi on a late Sunday night (2 AM) to the airport and I really appreciated that since ubers are not allowed at GDL airport. The only issue I had was the lighting, the light switches took a bit to get used to what switch turns what on and some lights had to stay on in order to use another but this wouldn't deter me from coming back at all. I would 100% stay here again and I highly recommend.

On site secure valet parking was a nice amenity. The room was pretty nice, had a mini fridge and 2 free bottles of water per day! The air conditioner never worked at all so it got warm in there during the day so sleep wasn’t the best. If you read thru the other reviews there are several people complaining about the air conditioning so this isn’t a singular issue. The neighborhood was great, great food and drinks all in easy walking distance up and down Chapultepec! Overall Guadalajara was well worth the visit, and if they can solve their air conditioning issues I would highly recommend this hotel!

Nice hotel in general, but it's a bit too dark in the room even you turn all lights on. Food is good at 2nd floor with a reasonable price. Also, the waitress is very nice and really try to help me order whatever I want. The locations is also very good, you are basically surrounded by good bars, good restaurants, convenient stores. I would recommend treat this hotel as a business trip hotel rather than family trip hotel.

Our suite was really nice. Great modern luxury style in a hotel just a block from Chapultepec. We walked to restaurants and shopping and it was less than 10 minutes to the train station for our Tequila tour. The staff were all very friendly and chatty. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great spot. Clean and roomy rooms. I love the rooftop. I always go there when I need to apply for a visa, it is halfway between the CAS and the US consulate, thus I can walk to both places and not worry about lockers, parking, etc.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever been to: staff is very cordial and friendly, and rooms are clean and modern. Beautiful view of the city from the top floor.

Googling Hotel Consulado got me dropped off blocks away at an empty old building with a security guard at 3AM bleary eyed after delayed flights. Muchachas Ruth and Andrea, off from night bar and restaurant work, not maps on a new cellphone that is just as difficult writing notes, made it their mission to quiz people until we arrived at a glamorous Loveit lit sign in the dark, a significantly more Upscale experience than wandering lost. Rain shower, nice smelling products, woke up to a blessedly cool dawn under a warm duvet. Can testify that the floors do not creak. Glass balcony.

Delightful, well appointed, friendly staff and a wonderful restaurant with surprising desserts in the heart of one of the best parts of Guadalajara (and close to the US consulate). What more could you ask for?

Wonderful room, sexy shower, modern atmosphere. The hotel rooms are not family or child friendly due to the glass shower in the middle of the room.
