DoubleTree by Hilton Guadalajara Centro Historico

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel rooms were very clean as well. The highlight of our stay was the transportation service provided. Felipe and his brothers dropped off and picked up our group of 13 women. They were always punctual, they made sure we were safe, they were very professional and friendly. They made our trip enjoyable and smooth. 5 stars for Felipe and their car service!!!

Very comfortable beds. The hotel seems to be very well maintained. They actually have a refrigerator and coffee maker which is uncommon in Mexico. The personnel went above and beyond at every opportunity, which pleasantly surprised me. Like, they really really tried. Lots of dining nearby. I believe you would be very satisfied with your stay, as I was and recommend this place. Also the elevator only works if you scan your room key for extra safety.

We had a great experience overall but the most memorable part of our trip was Felipe and his brothers ! Felipe is contracted with double tree Guadalajara Mexico as a driver and he is not only trustworthy but fair. Him and his brothers are such genuine people and we felt nothing but safe being driven by them everyday. We are going to miss them the most ! We will definitely be using Felipe and his brothers services again when we make our way back to Mexico. Thank you double tree you truly have a gem on your hands with this group of men.

This hotel is very centrally located in the city, the staff was fantastic, beds where very comfortable rooms where nice and clean! Their restaurant bar was also a treat, good food, and best Mexican craft beer selection I’ve seen!

Came to Guadalajara for a couple of days and enjoyed every min of it! The restaurant on the 7th floor is sooo good! Their drinks, food and service is amazing!!!

The view is extraordinary!! Definitely coming back!

Location is spot on. Right in the centro de Guadalajara you have access to everything no car needed. Great views from the rooftop patio bar.

Had a wonderful anniversary stay here. I am a Hilton diamond member and they sure did go above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible stay. I was upgraded to a suite which was very comfortable and nice. Loved the big restroom and rainfall shower. The bed was very comfortable and boasted beautiful views of the cathedral. Daily housekeeping did a fantastic job and ensured our room was very clean and fresh for our enjoyment.

Big shout out to Daniela who sent us an amenity gift with a hand written note! Very thoughtful touch and much appreciated. Keep up the amazing hospitality!

Diego at the front desk was always kind and welcoming. He assisted me throughout our stay here.

At check in the bellman was very friendly and welcoming, offered us house cocktails showcasing the hotel bar right in the lobby.

We did enjoy the Hilton diamond breakfast buffet, all the waiters and staff were friendly every morning. Loved breakfast with a view!

We had an anniversary dinner reservation at Piso Siete and they had the best table reserved for us with a direct night view of the cathedral. Top notch service and incredible food. My review is on Piso Siete here on google maps.
The bar also had great cocktails and service at the bar top. The hotel even provided us a glass of wine the first night of arrival.

If you’re looking for a luxury property who has incredible service and a beautiful property with a fantastic restaurant you must stay here. This is the best doubletree I have stayed at and will stay here on my next visit to Guadalajara. They know the Hilton brand standard and carry it out very well. Me and my husband had a memorable anniversary here. THANK YOU!

Amazing hotel, the security can't be beat, the hospitality is incredible, the hotel itself is gorgeous and in a great location! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
Shout out to Gabriel and Brandon at the restaurant, Osvaldo at the bar and Eduardo at the desk, he had the very best recommendations for food and shopping etc!
Uber works great there as well!!

I have never visited the historic downtown of Guadalajara, it was beautiful everywhere we went, my wife and I enjoyed museums restaurant, the people are so hospitable and polite, the staff at the hotel were very well trained professional and respectful, every time we exited we ordered a taxi everyone had positive manners spoke our language and were very helpful. We ordered a taxi for Puerto Vallarta when we left and a taxi driver by the name of Arturo Valle picked us up drove us, he was professional as can be, provided us with our kind of music on our 4hr drive we stopped on the way ate all including him, honestly I felt as comfortable as if he was a family member showed us good restaurants when we arrived, he was a super customer service polite gentleman I strongly recommend ordering his service for long trips he will make your trip enjoyable. THANKS Doubletree by Hilton for your awesome experience.

Located in the historical center and close to metro system which is very easy for traveling around city. Staffs is very nice and intended to help, even bring me to the train station and teach how to use the ticket machine... very impressed.

My husband and I came to visit the rooftop restaurant (ONLY) and it was the most scenic view that we’ve ever experienced out of all the hotels in Guadalajara! It was such a pleasure to have Gabriel & Andres as a server. They constantly came around to ensure we were well served and always asked how was the service, food quality, and opportunities for improvement! We’re excited to come back and enjoy the beautiful views and would love to have Gabriel & Andres as a server again, we laughed a lot!

The hotel was extremely nice and in the heart of the city, great location. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I was in a bind and they were able to help me out. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel you feel safe and it’s clean and the food in the restaurant is divine.

If you’re looking to stay in the heart of Guadalajara this is the place. The service was wonderful since the booking, they helped me choose a room with an amazing view of the templo and the city. It was my fiancé birthday and we had the pleasure of being helped by Viana, she helped me decorate the room and plan everything for a surprise and she was so kind a attentive through the whole process. She really went above and beyond her work, thankful for the patients.The staff was also very attentive and sweet. We got to eat at the restaurant and was highly satisfied with everything, the drinks and food are delicious definitely coming back. Highly recommend staying here.

For it being in the center of the city which made it convenient to get to places by foot or taxi. The rooms were clean and the housekeepers stock up our bathroom everyday and beds were made daily. The bellhop was amazing and recommended good places to eat and explore at while we stayed.

Loved it!! My wife and I were amazed with our stay. The location couldn’t be better, you have everything you could want. The night life, the carriage rides, the cathedral, and all the shops. We walked around for a bit so many shops and restaurants!! We had dinner and drinks on the 7th floor, she loved her Paloma and the view was great. Will definitely come back!!

The best feature of the hotel is its location. It is surrounded by restaurants, stores and the Cathedral. Plenty of walking around opportunities.The rooms were comfortable, clean and updated with some minor/normal ware and tare. Without asking they accommodated our rooms right across from eachother and that was great. They were able to provide a comfortable and safe ride back to the airport. All staff was very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant they have in the 7th floor has beautiful views and delicious food. We are definitely returning to this hotel.

I was really pleased with this hotel. The staff were incredibly hospitable. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The decor and condition of the hotel is excellent and I loved the art work. The breakfast buffet was possibly the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever had with an awesome selection. And the view from the restaurant on the terrace can’t be beat. Would love to stay there again!

Beautiful hotel with a lovely view of Plaza de Armas, the Catedral de Guadalajara and the Palacios del Gobierno del Estado de Jalisco. The room was modern and comfortable with a comfy terrace to enjoy coffee and watch the people below. My bed was made every day with fresh towels always delivered, though I missed the coffee refills 2 or 3 times over 8 days. But it was fine because there are so many cafes nearby. Wish I had tried the breakfast or dinner at the restaurant upstairs but I was too busy exploring all the places around the Centro Historico. The subway station in front allows for quick and easy travel to Zapopan as well. The staff was very helpful, kind, and welcoming. I definitely hope to stay here again. Thank you for an unforgettable trip to GDL!
