Great local place!! Heard the music as I was walking by the other day and thought this would be a great place to go to. By chance, a friend recommended to meet there the very next day...coincidence?? The food menu is limited but it's not a dinner restaurant, it's a bar first and foremost. A bar with a great vibe and local folks who love to sing along with the performers. Highly suggest meeting up with some friends here....grab a table...a drink...order a snack and enjoy the lively atmosphere

An absolute must do in Guadalajara historical center! The lead bartender looked after our glasses with free pour. The live music and all engaged drinking and singing classics of Jalisco. We ate all three dishes they served and bang on perfect for the drink. We really enjoyed our evening and the classic Cantina experience!

I discovered that this is the best place in the city to enjoy a traditional 'TORTA AHOGADA.' The service is okay, but what truly stands out is the incredible flavor. An added bonus is the presence of a piano right in the middle of the hall. If you're musically inclined, you can share your skills by playing a song for everyone to enjoy. A unique and delightful experience!

This place is fantastic! It feels a bit like going back in time. Old school bar, traditional local food, and live piano. Love the photos around the place. Torta ahogada is amazing and the cerveza is cheap. I just keep coming back

That was just the most amazing bar I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere is amazing and the life music is great. Everyone is singing along with all the songs the piano guy plays and it just gave me goosebumps how united it felt.

A must-go!! Busy as it gets but totally worth the experience!! Just ask “una cerveza por favor” or “un tequila Cascahuin,” and you won’t regret it. Somebody left a bike because he could afford his bill, so it’s on display.

If you like a beer and tequila bar with dedicated drinkers, a diverse crowd and live mariachis, then this place is for you. If you don’t like those things then I don’t know what to tell you.

This place is a gem — live music, cold drinks, friendly staff, and most importantly, a historical place where the locals gather from all generations.

Probably my favorite bar in Mexico. Looks cool. Friendly atmosphere. Nice list of tequilas. Live music. People started spontaneously singing old folk songs in unison around the bar when I was there.

The oldest Cantina in Guadalajara!
Friendly atmosphere in a traditional building. Service is fast and staff are friendly. They even look after your bike if you can't afford to pay your bill...

Honest to goodness bar in historical building. Expect a good stiff drink and cold bottled chaser that won't break the bank. Or nurse an oscura if you prefer.

Great place to have a few drinks after a long walk around the city. It’s a place with a lot of history and one of the oldest cantinas in the city. A must go when in town.
