I have been to several mercados in different cities and enjoyed them but this one just might be the best. The variety us remarkable. It is a popular place and packed with people late-morning to midday.

You can find all kind of staff in this place, allot of people in this places. Also if you just want to drink your fruit juice. This place have it. I did like it. Allot of walking.

It is an experience of another culture that does not wrap meat in trays so one gets to experience animal death in a not very nice way as a Canadian.
Frankly the smell of death and blood is enough to turn you off eating flesh.

The butchers are very obliging...the fish always fresh, and there is an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables to choose from.Its a great place to shop.

I arrived late in the day (6pm) but even with half the stores open it was interesting and the variety is great. Mole Teloloapan is delicious
