AraMacao Las Guacamayas

We ate here every day and did a boat trip into the jungle that were both great. All the staff were friendly and helpful even though we weren’t staying here. We stayed at El Retoño just south of here and it was far cheaper for our family of five.

Extraordinary Jungle Lodge with great mexican food, location at the riverbank and wildlife tours! Already upon Arrival we spotted like 20 Guacamayas feeding on one of the palm trees, whcih was an amazing experience. We stayed here two nights and did the 2-hour boat tour, the Dormitorio de las Guacamayas and another bird tour. Every single one was totally worth it, we saw crocodiles, monkeys, tons of Guacamayas and all kinds of different birds including a Northern Potoo which is almost impossible to find (unfortunately no Toucan though, but that’s Nature). Definitely recommend and will come back!

Really amazing place with good food (better than what you usually get in the jungle region) and great activities.

We enjoyed sleeping in the traditional woos buildings with the sound of the jungle around us and being waken up by the howling monkeys. You can see monkeys coming very close to humans, beautiful tropical birds and many more animals.

Incredible !! The place is perfect, you can enjoy nature and animals such as of course Guacamayas but also monkeys, birds... We spent a night in a “cabana” which was really clean. Shared bathroom too (hot water). The team is really friendly and makes great efforts to limit the impact of tourism on the environment. I highly recommend this place.

This place is amazing. The beauty of the surroundings should be enough but these bungalows are super nice and very clean and the landscape is incredible. The service was great and staff friendly. You can't miss this place if you come to Chiapas

I genuinely love this little paradise, the long drive to get there is totally worth it. The fauna is just impressive. Over the course of 2 days relaxing there, we saw so many animals, guacamayas, howler monkeys, huge iguanas, beautiful river birds...

Wifi is unstable only available at the reception at times. Avoid the ceviche at the restaurant (they serve the ketchup/cocktail version). You might get woken up by the many animals passing through the reserve early in the morning (which is amazing) but FYI in case you need to sleep. The river boat trip is a bit overpriced but so much fun (imagine doing rafting but going upstream!).

Earthy and rustic and magical cabins (felt so authentic), gorgeous guacamayas birds (red and green type) and cute deer that came to me. Very nice slice of nature, and very few tourists

Great places lovely food, delicious service we luxe, decent processes good portions in food, service at. Front desk good, family atmosphere.

Spectacular place, unfortunately the power went out all night in the entire area.

Excelente lugar , donde te encuentras con la naturaleza, estás Enmedio de la selva , hay recorridos guisados en tierra y por el río ,es una experiencia maravillosa, las habitaciones están muy padres , son cábañas de varios tamaños, muy buena atención , maravilla de Chiapas. Estás fotos fueron tomadas en unas vacaciones del 2008 cuando todo está tranquilo en esa zona

Increíble lugar, no es fácil llegar pero es una joya , excelentes cuartos y servicio, buena comida y precios razonables

Un lugar maravilloso en pleno contacto con la naturaleza, sus instalaciones son muy buenas limpias y cómodas, cuentan con diferentes recorridos dentro de la reserva siendo nuestro favorito el recorrido en lancha donde puedes apreciar diferentes especies de aves y animales como cocodrilos y monos, la atención es muy amable y agradable. Sus alimentos son de muy buen sabor y calidad. Y por si en caso necesitases utilizar tu celular cuentan con servicio de wifi en recepción

Путешествуя по отдалённому Чьяпасу мы отдаляемся от классического отельного сервиса, да и вообще от стандартного или luxurious дизайна.
Эко лодж Las Guacamayas это ухоженный оазис среди деревень и полей. Большая и красивая территория с ландшафтным дизайном. Семьи паукооборазных обезьян живущих на территории лоджа и колибри, живущие вокруг бунгал и ресторана, где им постоянно поливают на десерт в поилку сахарный раствор. Попугай Гуакамайя тоже облюбовали это место и их модно встретить в разные часы. На большой и огороженной территории живёт 42 карликрвых оленей.
Понравилась еда в ресторане, для глуши очень достойно.
Место конечно не эконом вариант и туры от отеля весьма дорогие. Но лодж претендует на высокий уровень и вполне его поддерживает.
В общем если вы взяли 307 дорогу то рекомендую вам получить этот опыт.
