Mini Super Amapas

This is a great little grocery store. They carry locally made items in a deli case, fresh fruit, sandwiches, chips, water, snacks, etc. Most of the patrons that go there seem to have heard of this place from somebody familiar to neighborhood.

They are a cash only store. However, when we were parched from travel and had no MX pesos, they made an exception and allowed us to use credit card. We try to pay it back by leaving cash tip in jar when possible.

For the entitled gringos that complain about the prices and "rudeness", I have a condo around the corner of this store and have gone in here quite frequently. I've never found them to be rude, but I have witnessed tourists who don't speak the language get frustrated because the clerks couldn't help them find something. It's called Google Translate. And its free.
As far as prices, have you been to La Comer? The problem isn't that their prices are expensive, it's that you came here with an expectation you were going to get it cheap. You're in a popular tourist town. And it's convenient. Aye, pinche gringos.
For such a small space, they have a wide variety of items that you may need but don't want to hail a cab to and from the big box stores. And drop some coin in the tip jar, I promise you'd be shocked and how little they are paid.

A small place but with a very well used space. You find fresh local delis like guacamole and a variety of salsas. Better than going to an Oxxo.

Unlike all the convenience stores in the area (oxxo), this is an actual mini grocery store where you can find real food. They even have fresh made food like guac & salsa in the fridge, and a decent supply of liquor. The closest option in the area for real food.

Friendly and helpful neighborhood mini market with everything you need to stock up a hotel room or airbnb. They also have a small takeout counter (Tina's corner) making fresh burritos and quesadillas and other Mexican food. Ordered the delicious large quesadilla con carne for $125 pesos was filled with salty delicious carne asada, salsa, and beans.

Almost anything you need located near the beach. The sign says that it was established in 1983. A privately owned mini grocery store and deli. The deli items were delicious. The salsa and the guacamole were excellent. As a Canadian, our dollar is not as strong as the United States so the price of things were only slightly less than what it would cost in Canada.

Power went out and shopped for groceries in the dark. Staff was very helpful lighting up the shelves with their cell phones. Found everything including pancake mix, eggs, tortillas, beans, razors, and tequila.

This little grocery store was a life saver. They have almost everything you’d need, including alcohol and ready made food like breakfast burritos. Staff is very friendly. This place is cash only.

Awesome little market with REALLY good Mexican deli foods - freshly made beans, rice, tortillas, guacamole, salsas, shrimp, etc - everything needed to make a really good meal on the go!! Highly recommended

Best fresh corn tortillas I've had in years. The guacamole and salsa were great too. The prices were fair given how close it was to the beach and hotels. Visited 3 times in our 4 day stay.

It’s a well stocked store. Yes it’s more expensive but it’s closer and I don’t mind paying more for this convenience. They are a bit quite and come across as maybe rude but they are nice if you start a conversation with them. And one more thing. Make sure you take cash with you as they don’t take atm or credit card.

Gluten free pasta. Fresh guacamole and salsa. Great little bodega.

Our hotel was next to this shop. They have the essentials. The ladies are really nice and helpful. I got a pack of Pacifico and Victoria beer and several snacks. They also have fresh fruit! Suoer convenient

Hands down the best pico de gallo and guacamole. Just the right amount of cilantro, spice and lime in both. Also a good selection of wine and other things you might need. It’s totally worth the trip if you’re in the neighborhood and if you aren’t, then why not??!

Best bodega in the area for all the supplies you need including fresh produce. The fresh guac and salsa are a huge bonus. Also lovely customer service. Highly recommend.
