Hotel Krystal Puerto Vallarta

We had a great time my husband and I. The staff was absolutely fantastic! The pool service was exceptional because of the great staff named Christian and Daniel as well as the others. The bell staff was great and knowledgeable whenever we had questions or concerns.
The only thing I would have expected was to be told there was a wedding back to back nights directly outside our suite backing onto our deck. Our room was gorgeous and romantic.! We will definitely be going back again soon as we loved everything about this place and our experience!

Went to this resort back in April 2023 made a review but don’t see it so making another.

Had an awesome experience the resort is very clean beach is amazing pools always clean food was outstanding breakfast lunch and dinner, pretty much always something to eat by the pool bar, did have a couple small issues with the room as they were doing Reno’s next door at the time so after speaking with the manager she happily changed our room and went way above and beyond to make sure we were 100% satisfied with our stay, I’ve been to many resorts in Mexico Cuba Dominican Jamaica and this was by far the best experience I’ve had and the best food and staff were just super friendly and accommodating look forward to going back in the near future and highly recommend you try the resort ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went in the off season. Had a great time. The food was great. The drinks were delicious and strong. Environment was top-notch. Would recommend for a casual good time.

Live entertainment on weekends during off-season was wonderful. And danceable

One of The greatest hotel in Puerto Vallarta .We really enjoyed our stay there.Rooms are clean beautiful and ocean view is fabulous. Staff are super friendly and caring.All in all just go and enjoy your every single moment by staying there!!!!

Great place,good food,clean rooms not only that they offer more on there service also the beach is great view and they have a mini market to buy ur personal things

The resort was outstanding . The rooms and the service was excellent. We were a group of 40 people, 10 families with a lot of kids ranging from 2 to 17 yrs . All of us were taken care of really well. The restaurents had very tasty food. The enterainment was fantastic . The games arranged in the pool and the zumba was fun. The staff were always very friendly especially the ones near the pool. Happy I even learnt a little bit of Salsa . We had so much fun, I would defintely recommend this resort for anyone looking for a quality vacation stay.

5 Stars 🌟. It's not super chic or fancy but if you want the best bang for your buck this is it. If your trying to impress your significant other then another resort is the better option. Super friendly staff and the food is decent.

Before coming to the hotel, my partner and I combed over both the negative and positive reviews. Admittedly, we are both picky and tend to side with the negative reviews BUT we were SO pleasantly surprised. The hotel is based on the old Hilton Resort Grounds- same hotel, same staff, same food, same services, even same owners— just a brand change. Most of the staff note only things changed are their uniforms and minuscule procedures. We stayed at the Hacienda side of the resort, adults only, Junior suite with garden view. Our room was GORGEOUS- see attached pictures; it was clean, spacious and everything was in working order. The resort itself is also beautiful, there’s an Italian, French, Mexican, Steakhouse & Pizza/Wine restaurant to choose for dinner each night. There’s also their buffet that is available should you not want to commit to a restaurant and the menu changes daily. Breakfast & lunch buffets also, and a sushi bar available for lunch! There is a 24hr cafe also! The food was delicious, can’t complain… those who do we noted, tended to complain at each place they went to, some people are just miserable :(. There are minor repairs happening but not to the intensity some reviewers describe, they were not disruptive to our stay- some trees being pruned, a few boards being screwed in. The Hacienda was peaceful and quiet— as was the main hotel pools and lounging areas. We spent quite a bit of time at the beachfront, and the waitstaff was amazing, brought us drinks regularly and so friendly. They have daily activities including yoga, Zumba, kayaking, volleyball, baseball, water aerobics… their main activities leader Eduardo seems to really love his job and maintains so much energy. It truly felt like a boujee experience, we were truly surprised as some peoples ungrateful reviews. Our week here is a trip to remember for a lifetime!

My wife and I were there for 12 days. We had a great time. When we talk about service we received great service from Dadier in the reception and Miguel in the diner. The rest of the team were a hit and miss. I would hope that the management makes sure that both of them they are taken care off and others are trained by these guys.

The stay here has been amazing. The Italian restaurant was delightful and exquisite! Raul and his team were professional and with very high service class. I definitely recommend making a reservation in the Italian restaurant since it has been the best experience since staying at Kristal Hotel Puerto Vallarta.

Despite the bad reviews, I came to this resort with an open-mind. I travelled to Puerto Vallarta by myself and picked this place for its easy access to Downtown and other retail amenities. It’s a great location, first off.

If you are expecting a Riu franchise type of style, this place is not for you. Krystal provides what they could which is an all-inclusive package of food, accommodation, pool, beach, drinks, and entertainment.

I enjoyed my first welcome as I was genuinely greeted by Fabian (bell boy department), and his genuine hospitality placed a good mark on my entire stay in this hotel. I came in with an open-mind, and I remained grateful and positive. The hotel staff and the servers were fantastic. My ocean-view room was also great and been kept clean every single day, and I never had any issues.

I booked with Sunwing, so I was stuck in Puerto Vallarta for a while, but Krystal accommodated me, and went above and beyond at times. During the stressful times, they were able to take care of me, and this matters to me the most.

I think if you look at things in a positive light, good things happen to you, and the flaws doesn’t affect you as much. There are flaws in this hotel, but when that happens, I try to see it in a different perspective and started exploring several options outside of the resort— I can name a few now, thank you once again to Fabian. I am mostly grateful for Krystal’s proximity to Downtown.

My fiancé and I stayed here for about a week, and the services were amazing. Super friendly and informative staff. If we needed to get somewhere, they would give directions and easiest way to get around. The food is delicious in the mornings! I recommend the pumpkin flower omelettes. They also have an evening restaurant with different dishes each night with live authentic Mexican bands playing! The beach is beautiful and clean - one of the best sunsets I’ve seen. So much to do in a week, we will be back for sure.

The Italian restaurant Krystal is charming and welcoming at all times. The staff makes you feel home and safe. Their delicious food feed the body and the soul of any person visiting the beautiful Puerto Vallarta.
The capitán Raul of the restaurant will make sure you are well care.

Unbelievable service, the staff is second to none. The room was modern, clean and the ocean view spectacular from the 16th floor of the tower. Perfect for a family or a couples getaway, both were treated like royalty. Thank you all for a very memorable holiday. We will surely return.

Excellent stay! Although I wouldn’t book through Expedia again! They’re was lack of communication with the hotel. Or something happened that I will fond out soon because I ordered a room with a sea view and got a Mountain View. Anyways… they are always fully staffed great staff! Taxis available 24/7 Uber recommended. A small convenience store at the entrance of the hotel ❤💯🙏 Restaurants inside and outside at very short walks. Beach front location. Good price! I stood at the new tower and it’s nice 👍 They do have a restaurant with a beachfront view and it’s a buffet. Very strict payment policies ONLY CARDS. No CASH. Unless it’s for tips. Valet parking and day passes for guests. $45 Weather always hot and humid so bring you thongs!!!!!! 🩴 You’re welcome!

Excellent service, can’t complaint, we stayed for 6 days and we got the all inclusive service, it was amazing and the Italian restaurant was incredible.

Not sure who these people are talking about. Super friendly service. Marco, Diego, Hugo, Brenda to name a few were hugely efficient with our check in, bar and restaurant service and so forth. Rooms are clean, access is great, downtown and airport are close. Surf is a bit rough but no more so than most. I'll go again

We had a very good time in this establishment. Staff friendly, food nice and the views amazing. We stayed on 13th flood and every minute spent on the balcony gave us excellent views no matter what time of day it was. Pools clean, kids were very happy to use them. Open bar well equipped. Definietly one to recommend. Internet could be improver as uploads speeds are weak a bit on higher floors.
