Restaurant Bar la Roca

Went to La Roca with my co worker last night had a really good time. We ordered the shrimp tacos and shrimp garlic. The food was delicious. We got compliments from one guy who turned out to be either owner and investor and he paid for our food and tequila shot. Thank you for the food and atmosphere was great

Outstanding service and tasty food at this tourist location. We sat in the main dining room and just off to the side a bit from being directly in front of the stage.

We arrived in the early afternoon for lunch. The service was outstanding and very friendly. The food was good, but we had no idea there would be live music that time of day. A nice surprise and an overall great visit. Would absolutely go again!

This is a really special restaurant a short walk from the border in Nogales. I had the fish soup, and it was delicious.

Amazing food. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning. The restaurant is quite literally built into the side of a cliff. Heck, even the restrooms are fancy. All for no more money than a chain steakhouse in the US.

My sister and I had the best experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere immediately placed you in awe and wonder with beautiful festive live music playing in the background. The colors and design of this establishment is simply amazing. I was so happy to be there! Adrian saw our amazement and gave us a tour of the restaurant🤩
Every room had it own character, but every space was warm, welcoming,, and classy.
Then we get to the food, it was so fresh and delicious. The service was amazing, they were so attentive 🥰 oh and the margaritas... amazing!
This place is truly enchanting✨😍😃 and I will always go back.

Our last trip to La Roca was fantastic! First, the prices are great considering that the food is authentically Mexican and delicious, The atmosphere is top-notch unique and beautiful, and the tuxedo-clad waiters are most considerate and professional. If you wish to have a unique, one of a kind experience close to the border, then Lo Roca is the place.

We have gone forever. The only problem with the restaurant other than the fabulous food is the margaritas. They are so good that they are addicting. One of our favorite restaurants on the planet.

We enjoyed a spectacular lunch today just walking distance across the boarder at La Roca. The food was excellent with great service and proper health protocols. Our temperatures were taken upon entry, masks worn by all. They thanked us a lot for coming to Mexico. We will go again as it was a very special experience with terrific food and wonderful people.

Had the Chimichanga de Pollo. Went back less than a week later, and it was just as good or better! The service is outstanding as well! The perfect example of what a restaurant should be. 10/10!

Muy bueno! Increíble! What a surprise! We searched on Google while in Tucson for a good authentic Mexican restaurant to visit in Nogales. This was our choice. Food was amazing and so were the drinks. Service was a bit awkward. I believe, Mexicans are different then Americans when it comes to service. You have to waive your hand in order to get service. They do not come to "check on you" and I think is to not disturb you.
Beautiful set up and fast and tasty food.
I hope to return soon.

First trip to Mexico and while shopping the Plaza, a shop owner gave us a coupon for a free round of margaritas at La Roca and provided assistance on finding it. This restaurant is beautiful. Multiple areas within the restaurant to dine or enjoy drinks. We were placed in a bar area that was very private. We received stellar service. The waiter was attentive, funny, informative, and went out of his way to ensure we were happy. The margaritas (and other drinks) were excellent as was the suggested appetizer - mochomos. Just a short walk once entering Mexico, so very convenient. Well worth visiting!

***UPDATE*** I have been going to LaRoca restaurant and bar in Nogales, Mexico for over 2 years now and I have to say that I love this place and always, always stop for a bite to eat, as it has great atmosphere, staff, and of course food. La Roca is excellent fine dining. The wait staff where decked out in white suits and gave so much attention to our small party of 2. A completely rememerable experience whixh I plan on enjoying multiple times. We got the chicken and rice soup and bacon wrapped shrimp that were to die for. The decor and ambiance was peaceful, yet you can sense the deep history of this location and place. 5 stars all the way around!

Really good experience, highly recommended if coming to Nogales. Fantastic service and good food. Most try the Mochomo! (Fried shredded beef)

This was one of the best steaks I have ever had. I will be taking that trip from Tucson again real soon.

Very nice atmosphere and great food! I recommend the broiled shrimp dish and also skin potatoes entree is very good.

The lunch buffet starts after 1:00 p.m. on Sundays. There are definitely a lot of options to include fish, pasta, and beef. With a drink it is about $20 per person. I like the atmosphere and if it is your birthday the live band will sing you a song.

Upscale restaurant serving authentic Mexican dishes. The chicken mole & service was excellent. Highly recommend when in Nogales MX.
