We had a lovely Christmas dinner in this beautifully decorated restaurant. Very relaxed and great ambiance. The food is delicious and the staff is super friendly. You are all set in Tepozlan. Totally recommend 🫶

On the way up to Tepo, a local gave a us a tip to try los colorines. He was right. The menu boasts an array of delectable dishes, but two standouts truly capture the essence of Mexican cuisine: the Chiles en Nogada and the traditional Itacate. Go after your hike you can't go wrong.

Authentic Mexican cuisine is exactly what you can expect when you dine at Los Colorines! The bright pink facade drew me to this restaurant, but the amazing dishes and superb flavors are what makes me want to go back. We shared a bunch of appetizers and everything was delicious! Definitely get a glass of horchata - that was so freaking fabulous!

If you were maybe disappointed with food in the streets, come here to try the dish again. It's the best Mexican cuisine we have tried so far in our two months travels in Mexico. Greeting to our nice, humble and caring waiter Carlos! Thanks for great lunch with good live music!

Our favourite place to come for breakfast while in tepotzlan! We came twice! Authentic, affordable & amazing local vibes! Chilaquiles are the best I’ve had in Mexico - super soft tortilla chips & melt in your mouth!

We were a large table of 12 and absolutely everything we ordered was delicious. Amazing micheladas and the huauzontles were exquisite. To top it all up, the place is a visual delight exploding with color and the view to the mountains is spectacular. Thanks for having us, we look forward to our next visit to Mexico!

A must visit in Tepoztlán.

A lot of vegan options if asked " sin queso y sin crema". They cook all on the same grill though, so if fussy with cross contamination not sure it is ideal.

This is the most amazing restaurant I've visited in a long long time. I got here only because I was with a local Mexican family. The food was unbelievable and now I can't imagine eating Mexican fare without comparing it to what I had here. The restaurant was also just such an interesting and amazing collection of everything that is Mexican. The colors, the people, the kitchen, the helpers, the building and structure. It was all out Mexican. This is a must for any and every tourist if hi can make it. You will never regret eating or sightseeing here. The town is an added bonus. I wish I could have climbed the neighboring mountain. Will do it next time.

A place with authentic Mexican feel, the restaurant has this folklore of the region and also the flavor is transmitted to your plate.
Bring cash or you will be running to the atm in the rain as I did, but totally worth it.

One of the most folkloric and nice places to eat in México!! The food is awesome, don’t leave without trying a tlacoyo which are made at the moment!
Be aware they only accept cash and if you want a beautiful view of the mountains ask to be seated in the “terraza”

We ate there twice during our 3 day visit to Tepoztlan, good service and delicious food. The "Tortitas de Colorines" were exquisite. My husband and I share the dish and the server brought out in 2 plates, very accomadating. Just remember to bring cash. They don't take credit cards

We only had drinks and appetizers but the ambiance is very pleasant and colorful.

Perfect place for a yummy local breakfast. We reserved a table for 12 and had a 2.5 hours breakfast with a very nice view and breeze (3rd floor)
