Happy Express Hotel

Great value, clean, well located. The rooms are quiet from the outside traffic, but like all courtyard hotels, everyone can hear if there are loud conversations in the courtyard that all rooms are open to.
AC and TV, but no room safe or telephone. Good Wifi and a shared kitchen that guests can use and fridges to store things (including a separate medication fridge). Water cooler in the kitchen to fill up your water bottles.
Hot water and decent water pressure, comfortable beds
Reception understands and speaks great English.
5 minute walk to either Benito Juarez Market or Zocalo. It seems that Intrepid uses this hotel as there was information in the lobby for them - if I trepid uses this place, it's got to be both good and good value.

Location is perfectly near fairly priced street vendors, pharmacy and the “centro” we went out on a late night walk after settling in. Couldn’t get TV to work but it’s ok we just slept and left early next day. Room was just for a rest stop and perfect for the occasion especially price.

Some small issues with the rooms - signal wasn't great in one. A little bit of noise in the morning on the ground floor. But the front desk will happily accommodate you.

Happy Express Hotel is simply the best choice you can make for your stay in Oaxaca de Juarez. An hidden gem which is perfect under all aspects. We arrived early in the morning and the room was ready. If you are choosing your accomodation for your stay in Oaxaca, don't look further.

I stayed at this relatively new hotel for two months. It’s located close to Zocalo, the historic city center, and Mercado Benito Juárez. Almost all the tourist spots are within a walking distance. The rooms are clean and spacious with a separate bath room that gives you hot shower anytime, and what’s more, they have a kitchen and a dinning room, though they don’t offer complimentary breakfast. You can also enjoy breakfast and lunch of your own cooking in their beautiful patio.
The hotel crew are very helpful, and one of them speaks very good English. The room charges are very reasonable. Good both for your stay on business and tourism.

Very nice and clean hotel, very well located to explore Oaxaca oldtown. Very friendly staff. I'd come back.

Hotel muy limpio agradable cómodo muy tranquilo muy cerca de centro, su personal de maravilla la chica de recepción no recuerdo su nombre pero súper amable nos indicó donde podíamos comer que hacer a donde ir, llegamos con antelación y no hubo problema al resguardar el equipaje nos entregaron la habitación antes de de la entrada. Todo genial tiene un área de café y té.

Lo recomiendo. Buena ubicación, personal muy amable con el turista. Hotel pequeño pero muy limpio, todos los días realizaron servicio de limpieza en la habitación y eso me gustó.

Desde que llegamos el personal se mostró muy amable, nos recibieron de una manera muy agradable, muy happy!
Nos dieron la oportunidad de dejar las maletas en lo que nos entregaban la habitación, y al momento de entregar la habitación, también nos dejaron guardarlas en lo que se hacía la hora de partir.
La ubicación es muy buena, cerca está el centro, los mercados y lugares para tomar tours.
Sin duda nos volveríamos a hospedar mi esposa y yo.

El hotel es de dos plantas, cuenta con elevador, muy cómodas las camas. Hay refrigerador, horno de microondas y una cocina en planta baja. Cuenta con agua tibia y normal. Se los recomiendo. Está cerca del mercado.

Nos hospedamos dos días, el lugar es muy limpio, sus habitaciones son amplias, tiene área de no fumadores.
Las habitaciones están en perfecto estado, el baño super limpio.

Excelente ubicación,trato muy amable y cordial, íbamos a quedarnos un dia pero por lo limpio y seguro decidimos quedarnos más tiempo.

Un hotel subvalorado. Realmente debería tener más estrellas. Excelente servicio del personal, muy céntrico, es muy útil que cuente con cocina y que dejen comer alimentos en esa zona. Las habitaciones amplias, buenas amenidades de calidad. Sólo les falta agregar cajas de seguridad y algo para llamar a recepción desde las habitaciones.
