This is an amazing hotel! Being able to stay here has made our stay in Oaxaca all the more enjoyable. It’s located blocks away from the Zocalo and walkable to many areas in centro Oaxaca. The rooms are unique and very comfortable. So much love and care went into the architecture and decor. Breakfast on their terrace is included and you will leave full and ready for a day of adventure. The service is first class and the staff here has gone above and beyond to meet all our expectations. We have traveled all over the world and this hotel has made our top 5 stays. We will return when we visit again.

Beautiful historic characterful hotel with incredible attention to detail in the decor, lighting, art work and furniture. We had a romantic drink on the roof terrace where the cocktails were perfect and the service the best in Oaxaca! We loved this hidden gem that felt like a secret magical fairyland!

A very unique experience. Huge room, incredibly comfortable bed, delicious food, amazing service, charming rooftop terrace with views of the mountains and rooftops of Oaxaca. A block from El Zocalo. Very unique and charming architecture, with lots of stairs. Only complaint is that our room was so full of antiques there was no place to put our things! Would visit here again.

I just got back from 3 days at this property while visiting for a wedding and WOW, what an amazing place. Firstly, it’s not a Ritz-Carlton, so don’t expect that. It’s more like a quaint locals home you’re staying in and I couldn’t have loved it more. Each room looks different, the lobby stair case is so cute, I felt very secure, and the staff was always there to assist us. We arranged transportation to and from the airport through the front desk for about $40 each way for two people. They had the car there waiting both times and they covered payment to the drivers. The free breakfast was SO good and the views were unmatched. Everyone who worked there seemed to love what they did and it made us feel like we were part of the family. The rooms had A/C which is kind of rare there and we never ran out of hot water. (Our friends who stayed at other places said hot water was an issue.) There was always someone at the front desk to let us in late at night and the location was so perfect to everything walkable. You don’t have to take my word for it, but if you want a local, safe, friendly, clean, and centrally located hotel in Oaxaca, this is your place.

My stay here was for a week in January of 2020. Great room, great help with finding places to get out and explore, and the terrace is great for breakfast. The staff and owner are very personable.

I highly recommend this place for itself as well as for its location near the Zocalo, Avenida Turistica, Banks with ATMs. I was made to feel very welcome. A very classic place, winding stairs, quiet clean rooms, great service in the room, in the lobby, and on the terrace. Enjoy.

Beautiful suite filled with antiques ♥great location only a few blocks walk to the markets, museums & restaurants. The staff took great care of us!

Realmente excelente ubicacion. Cerca del zócalo y del convento de santo domingo y me museos.. las habitaciones muy amplias y tematizadas. El personal excelente y amable. Muy recomendable.

Muy cómodo confortable además la terraza le da un ambiente muy acogedor con un toque de boemia los cuartos muy cómodos pero los desayunos un poco caros 100 pesos por desayuné algo cara

Un hotel lujoso en pleno centro de Oaxaca y muy cerca del zócalo, del andador turístico, de las principales iglesias, restaurantes, cafés y bares

A 2 cuadras de Catedral de Oaxaca, todo cerca. Excelente desayuno. Si tienes alguna discapacidad reserva en planta baja

Muy original hotel, parece que estás en la casa de algún familiar, la cama muy bien, así como los otros espacios, muy buena atención.

El Restaurant de la Terraza, tiene una vista hermosa, la atención de Loida y Lupita es excelente, los platillos para desayunar son de recetas tradicionales.

Buena ubicación, la habitación que me reservaron no es de la calidad, que se observa en las fotos,es un lugar de 2 o tres estrellas, con los minutos servicios

Es un lugar mágico en donde se cobijan los sueños posibles. Se convierte en un hogar lejano al lugar de residencia, una estancia maravillosa a la que no se le pueden encontrar contratiempos.
