Sixt is so friendly and accommodating! I have rented a car multiple times from them on my trips to Guadalajara. They communicate prior to my arrival to ensure times for arrival so they can pick up. They message me when they are coming to pick me up at the airport and drive me to their office. They are very reliable and safe! The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and clear about prices. I always recommend Sixt!

I am a long time customer with Sixt and fly into Guadalajara airport to pick up our car rental on my frequent trips. Customer service is top notch and the manager David is professional, helpful besides being a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Service was great the car was clean and worked well. They pick you up and drop you off at the airport… super quick and friendly. Great service and great price, I will definitely be renting again!

Just came back from a family vacation in Guadalajara. We’ve rented a car from Sixt. I booked it online 6 days in advance. Also reserved 2 toddler car seats. Received a reminder from them 1 day before the trip, also emailed to confirm our kids seats and received an immediate reply back. They met us at the airport, it was only us so no waiting time at all. Very nice and friendly. Car was almost new, clean. Car seats were not - but I didn’t expect them to be perfect. They were ok for a 5 day trip. If you have high expectations I strongly advise bring your own. We used our credit card insurance. So had to leave $1,5k deposit. Was returned at the arrival. We had a great experience with them. We rented a car for 9 days. This is my second time in three years renting from Sixt.
David is awesome. He speaks 4 or more languages.
He is super friendly and reasonable.
Most rental agencies in Mexico pressure you into buying CDW insurance, which doubles your rate.
My Visa covers the CDW if I use it to pay and the rental period is not longer than 12 days.
It cost me $400 for 9 days which i thought was fair.
I will call David directly next time I'm in beautiful Guadalajara to set up my rental from Sixt.

Best services and prices for that location! Rented a car for 3 weeks. Had no issues. Customer service was great. Paid under 200 for 3 weeks during holiday season. Over great experience! Totally recommended giving then a try.

I did not know about Sixt until a relative recommended it to me. The arrival in Guadalajara is matched with a person waiting or calling you to check on your status. They are prompt to drive you to the nearby office where the cars are waiting. You get what you order online and are not hassled for additional things that other big named agencies would say are required. Getting in and out is very easy and have not had any problems the last three rentals that lasted weeks.

So this is my 4th time in GDL in less than a year.
I booked every trip over Expedia, flight, hotel and rental was always paid for in full before each trip. I went to MexRental the first time, then Thriffty, then MexRental again and now Sixt.
Yet every time the rentals forced me to pay for "extra insurance" (MexRental) or even tried to request a bribe from me, like Thriffty did!

I decided to give Sixt a try this time and was very pleasantly surprised!
We arrived at Sixt one day late, due to a connection failure in Mexico city, I called them from my hotel to let them know about it.
The next day we arrived in GDL, the retal car was ready and waiting for us, it took about 5min for the paperwork and the car inspection.

I told my wife "well I hope everything goes this great when we return the car!".
12days and over 1500km later we returned the car... and again, it took about 10minutes and everything was over.
NO extra costs, NO extra insurance, NO solicitation to get a bribe, NO nothing.

If you want a stress and rip-off free rental car, go for Sixt in GDL!

I recommend this rental company. I had no issues for a 9 day rental in October. My wife used them months later and had no issues too. Buen trabajo 👍

Rented from Sixt and after some dealing they upgraded me to a nice minivan free of charge. I do recommend sixt.
