My boyfriend and I stayed at Casa Kalmar for two nights on a road trip down the coast and wish we could have stayed longer! Our room was beautiful, large and comfortable with a huge private balcony and great view of the ocean and beach. Breakfast was prepared fresh every morning and was delicious. The pool area also had a great view of the ocean, the staff was friendly and the wifi worked well enough (it sometimes went out bu never for long). The walk to the beach has a bit of stairs but isn't too bad. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely six-room boutique hotel above Zipolite beach. Amazing views, superb service, comfortable rooms. It's up the hill from the beach, so a bit off the beaten path to get to, but worth it. You'll love this place!

Silvia and the whole team are really lovely, feels like a slice of heaven. The location is wonderful and breakfast is delicious. The pool, the views, and the surrounding nature are all absolutely magical. Definitely will be back, muchas gracias!

What can I say!!! This is a hidden gem. ❤ the place and people. Incredible stay and sunset and rise from my bed was incredible. You want to be alone and quiet. This is the place . Love you sylvia and thank you for everything

Not sure where to beging. The view is amazing and breath taking. Silvia was expecting us and gave us all the necessary info we needed. First we had dinner at a near by restaurant, Restaurant Q. Very nice and yummy. The rooms are super comfy and have AC in all of them. Great pool with warm water heated with the sun. Perfect for a swim after a long day. They give you a delicious breakfast everyday and yummy coffee. This place is like an hour from the airport. You can rent a car or take a taxi. It is close by to the beach. About a 10 minute dirt walk and a few stairs to climb. If you have a car, there are several near by towns and places you can visit. The entire experience was amazing and we will definitly be back. Thank you Silvia and all the staff for a great experience.
The small rooms are perfect by the pool and AC. Super comfy and quite with an amazing view.

This is the BEST place to stay in Zipolite!
Sylvia and her staff know how to take great care of their guests, anticipating and meeting their needs, as well as giving you space to enjoy your vacation.

The hotel and rooms are clean and well-kept. The pool is wonderful to have when you need a break from the beach. The daily continental breakfast was delicious.

I don't have one negative thing to say about this place. You're going to love it!

The sparkling blue infinity pool is so beautiful set high on a hill with incredible views of the ocean and playa zipolite below. The house is inviting and the rooms beside the pool are very comfortable all with sunrise views. Very relaxing and worth returning to💙

What an amazing place. Great location with lots of good dining options within walking distance. The beaches were amazing and you can explore quite a few towns in the area from here. Sylvia and Christina were excited to share adventure ideas and Jose, the night guard helped me order delivery even though we didn't speak the same language. All of the staff were very friendly and ready to help in anyway that they could. Breakfast each morning was amazing with a fruit and yogurt course followed by incredible home cooked food. The only downside is smoking is allowed in common areas which made breakfast a little smelly and hanging out at the pool occasionally unappealing. Otherwise an incredible place. We'll be back! Gracias!

This place has a breathtaking view from Zipolite. Though the access can be hard for a pedestrian, it can be a great option if you’re wishing for a calm place where you can have a fresh breakfast each morning. The staff was always very friendly and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

What a view!! We spent 4 nights in Casa KalMar, soaked in the pool, took in the view, enjoyed delicious breakfasts and had a wonderfully comfortable room! Zipolite centre and beach is a 10 minute walk down a stairway and path in the hills which is beautiful! The hotel staff were always helpful and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy 4 flawless days of relaxation, good food and full comfort.

Casa Kal Mar must have the best view in the whole of Zipolite. I would highly recommend this place to stay for a relaxing few days, tanning on the sun-loungers and dipping into the picture perfect infinity pool.

The property has only 6 rooms, so you will get to know your fellow guests. Breakfast is healthy and fresh and there is a lot of variety. The beds are enormous. Silvia is a great host. It doesn't feel like staying at a hotel, but a very well maintained guesthouse with hotel like facilities.

You need to be able to walk up approx 200 steps to get to the property from the town. But you will be rewarded by the best view.

I can't wait to return.

Excellent place to relax much better than by the Zipolite beach and much better value than Quinrana-Roo. We didn't want to leave. The staff were very helpful too! They don't have a restaurant but you can order pizzas in.

Stunning views of the Pacific on three sides. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Immaculate, recently renovated rooms, private baths, efficient and quiet air conditioning. Silvia is a wonderful host!

Amazing views, nice swimming pool, great service, and comfortable cozy rooms with perfect beds. Would recommend.

I don’t want to review because I want to keep it a secret. Thinking of this place makes me want to cry tears of joy. Absolute paradise on earth, with the most amazing and helpful staff. One of the best stays anywhere.

Beautiful hotel with breathtaking ocean views. It’s a bit of a hike to get to and from the beach but definitely worth it.
