Secrets Huatulco

I am delighted to share our experience at this resort – it's surpassing all our expectations! The service is absolutely top-tier; every staff member greets us with a smile as we pass by, making us feel truly welcomed. The efficiency and speed of service are remarkable, making everything hassle-free. Our room is incredibly spacious, and the provided toiletry products are generously sized, adding to the convenience.

The variety of food options for room service is extensive, and the à la carte restaurants offer delicious meals with a fantastic ambiance. The sunsets here are simply breathtaking, adding an extra touch of magic to our evenings. There are so many resort activities to enjoy, ensuring there's never a dull moment.

It's only day 3 of our 7-day stay, and we're already looking forward to what the rest of the week holds. Despite having visited numerous resorts in the past, none compare to the exceptional service we're experiencing here. Kudos to the staff for their outstanding work – we truly appreciate the effort they put into making our stay unforgettable.

Had the best vacation here in a group of 7. The views are unmatched and absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were great, a little damage here and there but nothing that was unacceptable or dirty. Great service except for one night at the Italian restaurant. Food was a bit hit and miss. Best food was at French restaurant and hibachi. Breakfast at castaways was worth upgrading to preferred club. Great town and very safe. Can't wait to come back. Skip the spa and go to a local spa in down for a fraction of the price.

We are currently at Secrets. From the moment we arrived we have been pleasantly suprised (we were a little anxious based off some reviews). We didn’t get everything on our wish list (king bed) but were kindly advised and given the opportunity to switch rooms the next day should we have wanted to (we didn’t). Everyone so far has been wonderful. The servers are great and so kind. We haven’t had a chance to dine in any restaurants yet as we just arrived yesterday but the pool grill is fantastic! We were able to get a lounge chair and towels without issue. So far we are really enjoying our stay and look forward to returning as long as things continue to be as wonderful as the first two days have been!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at secrets resort This was one of our first times away without our family and we enjoyed everything about this place. There is a concern about pools missing tiles and I'd like to see them rectify this before people get hurt. Other than that the staff go out of there way to make you happy!😎

This place was absolutely amazing! The food overall was extremely good, the odd thing just wasn’t for us. overall, an amazing experience. Amir and Daniel were incredibly energetic and super fun playing volleyball and Pickleball always knew our names and always made sure we had everything we needed. And Alejandro was incredibly informative and an amazing tennis instructor. He was knowledgable and very fun to play with. They made our experience all the better.

We had the most amazing week at secrets huatulco. The service was unmatched. Everyone here goes above and beyond to give you the best vacation. Every single person working there was amazing, but I need to give a shout out to Mardeli at the swimup pool bar. She is so sweet and truly makes the most amazing drinks! Rooms were great, comfy beds, food was great. Nightly entertainment was good. There’s really nothing negative to say. Had the best time and I will be back.

This is one of the best all inclusive adults only resort I’ve been to! So amazing the service the food weather the beach, pool was just perfect everyone was very friendly quite relaxing place the bad reviews are 100% bull 10/10 resort please go!!

This is the fourth time we come this hotel. I reserved using my credit card agency (Chase), and by mistake they requested a room with 2 queen beds when we booked a king bed. Edgar Ibarra from concierge helped us find the room we were asking for even when it was not a mistake on their end. The food was amazing, Martin Ortiz from the Oceana restaurant was amazing, he was funny and courteous to my wife and me. The only thing I didn’t like is the reduced menu for room service. It would be great if you could order ceviche or cocktails instead of just hamburgers and BBQ wings. Other than that, I have no regrets for coming back to this amazing place.

The resort is quiet, peaceful and relaxing....staff works extremely hard. Slight updates required but definetly nothing to worry about....Foods is great but not amazing...the French has been our favourite.
I'd recommend to anyone looking to relax and watch waves....beach is ckean not a weed around and is very safe.

Huge thank you to Ivonne and her team at Castaways (Alejandra, Carolina, Lesly, Heidi, Jorge and Geison). Every morning we were greeted by name and felt truly welcome. Ivonne always had a smile and a kind word. We watched her and her team deal with many different customers over our two weeks there. No matter the situation, the team was always professional and handled things quickly and efficiently. Ivonne manages her dept with professionalism and really cares about her customers and her people. Wish we could all have an Ivonne on the payroll!

The rooms are clean. service in rooms daily. The hotel is in a bay of its own. Lovely. Ask for anything you may need. The staff will go find it for you. Happy, wonderful staff in all departments. This is an 18+ resort.

If Drinks were more available on room service, it would be 5 stars all around. Amazing place, beautiful views, good food. We just needed our minibar restocked and there was only 3 hours a day mini bar service was available.

First i will mention those whose names I remember. Alejandro was an excellent Archery teacher & nice/helpful dude in general. Julian in Castaways was really hustling to get our meal to us (and others) in a timely manner. He was also very pleasant. Ingrid did a wonderful job Mescal tasting for us! Daniel took us on a great kayaking & snorkeling tour. Amir pushed (our kayaks in the water. Martin in Oceana was also very good. All the maids, most waiters in the bars etc..were very pleasant. One down side was not enough towels for the pool & if you didn’t save a lounge chair by about 730/8, you would be lucky to get one until late afternoon. This isn’t entirely the hotel’s fault, but guests who reserve chairs for the whole day, while they are gone doing other things.

We stayed at this resort for our 10 year anniversary it was an amazing trip! The resort is nestled in a beautiful, private beach cove with stunning views. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing resort, this is it. The huatulco airport is small and quiet, which was refreshing after a recent trip through Cancun's mess of an airport. From the time we landing to stepping foot in our resort was a little under an hour, which was a lovely experience. The service was top notch and the views cannot be beat. We even went into town for an anniversary dinner and had a great time. Every local we met told us it is the safest place in Mexico.

And the spa is heaven on earth. If you love a spa day you have to give this one a try. The hydrotherapy and the spa cabins have beautiful views of the ocean. Absolutely amazing spa experience. We also loved that the spa was a bit removed so you weren't in the hustle and bustle. Just ask the spa concierge in the lobby for a ride and they'll shuttle you up.

In sum, if you're looking for a remote, quiet, and laid back vacation, this place checks all the boxes. Yes, the resort needs updating but we found that we didn't mind. We felt the location was well worth the trade off.
If you're looking for a party atmosphere with luxurious and the most up to date facilities, this place might not be for you.

Awesome adults-only all-inclusive. Top notch staff and service throughout. For an all-inclusive, the food program is very good (better than most).

We stayed here two weeks. The food and staff were fantastic. No compliants, enjoy your holiday!

Disappointed in the Preferred Club upgrade, travel Secrets brand over and over the upgrade is not worth it. Cant even get bottled wine in your room without a price, sad when its all you drink. Here till the Nov 19th maybe they will read this and fix it because the walk for a glass of wine when I paid for Premium Alcohol is nuts not even a welcome beach bag how can they be so different ?. Can not say enough good about everything else cant blame the service workers for that well done all Karen is your goto at all bars and pool level she is amazing 😀 Thank you The Budges

What a view!
Great location, nestled in a private cove, with huge sandy beach, unrelenting ocean waves, and a breeze. Lots of activities to keep you occupied and entertained if you like. Food is fabulous at all venues. 7 all together. Many bars located throughout the property and a plentiful army of servers waiting on your thirsty requests. The best Secrets we've been to. And that's saying alot because the Secrets in Costa Rica is absolutely fabulous as well. The only thing that separates the two is the view. I love the ocean!
A definite must visit!

Great adults-only resort. Service by Angela (and rest of the crew) was always on top, many restaurants to choose from, drinks and snaks. Food wasn't great but it is good enough. Activities with Abraham and Daniel were fun, the guys make you feel more than welcome and as if you were a regular. A place to come back, for sure.

Although it was a bit better when I came last time 6 or so years ago, still an excellent all inclusive adults only resort
