I love volunteering at KBI. I used to take our high school Kino Teens club to volunteer by serving food and listening to the stories that the migrants were willing to share. This opened up many eyes of the young people to other worlds outside their sheltered lives.
Since retirement I have continued to travel once a month to help prepare and serve food. One or two friends usually accompany me. The staff is very kind and accepting of our help. The migrants are very appreciative of the delicious food they are served. It is always a wonderful day well spent. Thank you KBI for opening your doors to volunteers.

They are very organized when I give them clothing. The really need extra help this year. They work with folks who really need food and clothing!

Kino provides many excellent services for migrants in difficult situations . Staff and volunteers are dedicated to helping the many in need at this time.

El trabajo que ofrece la Iniciativa Kino para la Frontera es muy amplio. Un migrante puede recibir diferentes ayudas, según sus necesidades. Pueden ayudar con ropa, servicios médicos, psicológicos y jurídicos.
