Casa Ley is my go-to grocery store. Always competitive pricing. A good selection, and a local business.
A good example of a bargain price point store, serving the local population.
Free basement parking. Open late.
Fresh & hot tortillas, daily.
Fried & roasted chicken.
Assorted household items & etc. upstairs.

Some better prices here if you need some groceries or drug store stuff while in PV. Plus Panama hats and beach gear.

Glad we found this place. If you are planning to make your own meals, you will be pleased with the variety offered here. We had originally thought we would take a cab out to Walmart, but everything we needed was here and reasonably priced.

Huge grocery store in the heart of central downtown. Everything you need for your trip. The only thing I would not get here is sunscreen as the selection is dismissal and the prices are high. Go to the pharmacy instead. ATM on site that gives pesos in smaller denominations.

This is my go to store, but selection can be limited. It has clothes and household goods upstairs. It is one of the few grocery stores near the malecon (boardwalk).

They have many great things here. 2-floored store. So many items ranging from food to tools to cleaning supplies and so much more! Convenient for its location and some items are cheaper than Walmart. Place is always fully stocked with great items. They also have clothes and technological devices. Their produce can be a hit-or-miss sometimes. There were days when the produce section was bad (obvious pushing out the old fruits and vegetables out for sale) and then there were days when all the produce were freshly stocked. I haven’t used the restroom here as there are many bad reviews about how nasty it is, but I solely come here to shop, not loiter. I’d rather go back to my place to use a toilet.

Very friendly staff. It can get busy. But it's very convenient. Eveything you need is here. They accept credit card and debit for payment too.

This store has all your food needs for your stay.

Great grocery store in the heart of 5 De Diciembre. Fresh baked goods in the morning with a great selection and prices. Tends to get picked over by night but restocked in morning. Bring your own bags.

Really inexpensive! Good selection! But they need to get more cashiers.. I often spend 15-20 mins waiting to checkout

Great service. After getting our groceries I tried to hail a cab just outside the store and a very nice man working there stopped and did the job for me. He then helped us load the groceries into the cab (yes, I did tip him).

A very convenient place if you stay in Centro or 5 de Diciembre. Nothing fancy but good to do groceries

Nice full service grocery store within walking distance of historic Puerto Vallarta. 5 de Diciembre, el Cerro, etc, a few blocks north of the Malecon. There is an upstairs where you will find personal products, clothing, etc. I recommend going upstairs first so you don't leave a full cart downstairs unattended.

Great place to shop while you are on vacation. Don't get me wrong we ate out a ton, but it's nice to have food stuff around for snacks and some breakfast stuff. We stopped there a few times while on vacation.
