Chez Elena Restaurant

Well, we went on the "shoulder season". Mother and adult daughter trip. We stayed in room #5, has several stairs and small outdoor balcony. #6 is ground floor with chairs and table patio. #7 has bedroom, kitchen, livingroom, no balcony and is up stairs. As of this post they have 7 available rentals with expansion in the works. Jerome the owner was kind and met his infant and his mother who was visiting. Our reception was with Ozwaldo, who was welcoming, thorough and very kind. Housekeeping came every day and provided drinking water which we drank gone everyday! It was so humid. But don't fret! The AC unit is a workhorse and was greeted with gratitude everytime we opened our door!
The grounds and gardens were lovely. I imagine a family trip, girls trip, friend/couple trips, small wedding, reunion, you name it. My daughter and I were the ONLY ones there!!!! We played mermaids at 10pm at night in the saltwater pool. We saw baby frogs, dancing slug on a garden light, possum, soooo many butterflies to count. They have two night time fire features. We had simple homemade banana bread, fresh cut fruit with yogurt or granola options. Because I'm an early riser, 8am coffee service is late for me. However, I definitely consumed 2 cups when the percolator was finished brewing.
The room was spotless, the staff was very kind, the price fit my budget, breakfast included, they even had beach chairs, blanket and umbrella for our beach day adventuring which was daily.
They do have a communal kitchen , filtered water, locking gated grounds, it's fantastic.

It turned out our reservation was for the last sitting of the season. The restaurant was not busy and the service was very attentive. We had drinks on the rooftop first and then to the restaurant for a very enjoyable meal. My wife had the Chicken Mole and I had the Ossobuco. The food was excellent.

The restaurant is in a older hotel overlooking centro and the bay. Take in a sunset on the rooftop. The drive up was an adventure.

Chez Elena is well worth a visit!

You need to climb a lot of steps but it's worth it. It's an old hotel charm. Never crowded. Musicians to entertain you during dinner. Not loud.

Celebrated NYE 2022 here. The food was simply amazing! And the rooftop views of the fireworks-unbelievable!! Staff was very attentive and friendly. Will be back!

Oso Buco is awesome and bacon wrapped shrimp! My two favorites. Go up to the roof top for sunset drinks first!

Good food, menu service and entertainment for ridiculously low prices on their two-for-one entree nights. And a fabulous view of the bay from the upstairs deck so stop there for a drink before (sunset?) or after (fireworks?) dinner. Lotsa stairs await you and if you walk to the restaurant, you'll already be winded from the steep hilltop location.

Wow.... what a view from the lounge on the roof. Go a bit early to catch the sunset and then enjoy your dinner in the restaurant

Wow, what a great dining experience. It is so obviously a family run business with love and passion. I felt like I could slow down and soak in the amazing ambience. Our server was amazing and had me laughing from beginning to end making sure we had everything we needed.

We loved having dinner here with friends. The view from the roof top bar can't be beat. Food and service is first class.

Beautiful elegant restaurant in Grand Miramar Resort up in the hills overlooking the Bay of Banderas and the amazing lights of Puerto Vallarta.

Lovely atmosphere, great food. Had Osso bucco. Two for one entrees Thursday and Tuesday.
