Excellent service and great variety of quality tequilas. We found a tequila we really loved in Cozumel and Emilio from El Buho kindly sent three bottles with courier to us to Cancun. Also very flexible options for paying for the goods.

Emilio is amazing! He has a great breadth and depth of knowledge of all things tequila and mezcal. The store also has an amazing selection of difficult to finds tequilas, mezcals, and Mexican whiskeys. I would 100% recommend a visit if you want to learn more or find what you enjoy!

Amazing selection of tequila! We weren’t sure which kind to get, so we told the clerk what type of tequila we wanted (blanco, reposado, etc) and the tasting notes (smooth) and she helped us find two very tasty bottles to take home, neither of which are sold in the US. The pic is of all the different types of tequila available to sample. Great place!

This store is always one of the highlights of a trip to Tlaquepaque! Emilio is so knowledgeable not only about tequila but about the history of tequila and the many distilleries. He and his staff are incredibly fun and patient and will let you sample to your hearts content to find the tequilas that are right for you. They will ship your purchases anywhere in México at a very reasonable cost. If you love tequila or want to learn more about it you must pay a visit here!

What an inviting shop. The owner Emilio (?) is a wealth of knowledge and has a clear passion for agave spirits. We had a great time trying, talking, and buying agave spirits at El Buho. One of the best selections I have seen anywhere. Be sure to stop in during your visit to Talquepaque.

An amazing place with amazing tequilas, mezcals and more. Owner, Emilio is a a amazing source of knowledge of the different brands he carries. If you are looking for unique brands you won't find in many places this is place to go. You can buy the brands you know, or kick back and let him take you on a guided tour of the most amazing stuff.

Really incredible tequila bottle selection. Possibly the best tequila bottle store on the planet. Emilio is an exceptional host with a wealth of knowledge. He offers a number of mezcales, a few sotols and a few raicillas. Absolutely a must for anyone looking for Mexican distillates.0
