Probably the best meal we’ve had in Guadalajara! A hidden jem-their moles’ are absolutely the best. The service staff is very friendly and attentive and the drinks were wonderful. HIGHLY recommend!

Jus phenomenal, everything. Had the stuffed chicken dish, the jicama tacos, the mushroom appetizer, and the Aztec soup. Everything unique and we'll presented and downright delicious. Cute place, too. And a big selection of beers.

With most restaurants in Tlaquepaque you are paying for the ambiance and experience. However, with Zaguan, you are paying for the cuisine. The chefs make delectable food at very reasonable prices. We had the mole platter and carne en su jugo. Both were outstanding. The blend of flavors is perfect. Would highly recommend. Huge compliments to the chef.

This is a place I hope to visit again on future trips. *Note: At first I was skeptical, because the food seemed to be focused on presentation and creativity. The end result was not only well-presented, but amazingly flavored and filling food.

We had the mole sampler which was really tasty and they brought us a complimentary creative little bite to start with. They also had live music when we were there.

Restaurant was relatively quiet when i went, but most of the tables were occupied by locals (spoke with a few of them because people are just so nice) which was a good sign. Unpretentious, well-done, very fresh food. Service was excellent. If you prefer somewhere cozier/quieter than restaurants on the main street, this is a very good option.

The best place to eat in the area. The dishes are inventive and well executed. The mole was out of this world and hands down the best dish I ate while in the city. The salad was fresh and had some really cool peals of passion fruit that popped in your mouth while eating them. I loved this place and you can tell the chef puts his heart in the dishes.

One of the best hidden spots in Tlaquepaque! The food is incredible and you can tell it is prepared with care. I have tried the lasagne and the tropical prawns and both were AMAZING! Presentation, flavours, and quantity were perfect! The decor is beautiful and it is a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and always able to make recommendations. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to try something different in Tlaquepaque!

Totally delish. We had roasted marrow on the bone and octopus. Off the beaten path. Definitely go. PS: great tequila selection. Gorgeous local art for sale.

Beautiful place, great food and great service.

Food was absolutely delicious and very well priced. The restaurant lives up to its 5 star rating. Samantha our waitress was delightful, plenty of smiles with great service. Luis Alberto, chef and owner visited our table making sure all was okay. It was a great dining experience and we cannot wait to return.

This place had fantastic, incredible food and outstanding service in a very calm soothing atmosphere. It was highly recommended by the people I was staying with. And they were right. They have some very unusual dishes, but everything was really really fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant. And I recommend going with what your server recommends, if you're not sure what to order. They will steer you in the right direction.

This place was great for kids. There's a play area in the back, and the environment is relaxed.

It was nice with the front windows open for an afternoon beer and snack. Friendly service.

Excellent meal well taken care of by staff. Duck tacos were amazing. Tropical fried shrimp full of flavor surprises. We will return.

My wife and I are total foodies, and she is a vegan. I had pork belly in peanut mole, and she had jicama shelled tacos. Both were superlative, beautifully presented, and super tasty! We followed it up with a yummy lava cake. Proves that haute cuisine comes from Mexico!

Delicious food, every detail was perfect. Cannot wait to back before I leave Tlaquepaque. Excellent service as well.

Delicious food, fantastic presentation, great drinks selection and excellent prices. I recommend trying the Filete al Tinto. The steak is succulent, cooked to perfection and the steak sauce that comes with it is the best I have tried in the last few years. I would also recommend trying the Naipe craft beer for the beer drinkers among you. On my visit it was well recommended by the waitress who was not only friendly and efficient but had an excellent knowledge of the menu. Definitely worth a visit when you head to Tlaquepaque!

Absolutely amazing! Food is ridiculously good, service is outstanding and the decor is wonderful. I’d give it 10 stars if possible!
