Its a hidden jewel under a simple shack. Be prepared to wait to be seated as it gets very crowded but it is worth it! Service was super fast! We had rib eye and guacamole, 4 individual servings of beans are included. Make sure you also try the lemonade with ice cream. Will definitely visit again.

Food is amazing! Fresh meats, and the table top salsa is just the right amount of spicy. Only wish it was bigger with more parking. Because when this place is popping, good luck finding a parking spot or a table. Signs of a great restaurant.

This unassuming roadside shack is home to a ‘carne asada’ legacy — service is speedier than a fast food chain, but the meats match the quality of high-end steakhouses and the homely taste of a family cookout at your tio-in-law’s ranch. Character oozes from every inch of the interior, with hundreds of framed photos of El Castor’s owner stood proudly beside Mexican stars who have eaten at his establishment. Let your eyes trace the trail of snapshots from one wall to the next, taking in decades of celebrity visits, and your gaze will then land on the man himself: El Castor’s founder, welcoming and seating diners. Decades on, he’s still there in the flesh, shaking hands with and kissing the cheeks of regulars who he’s probably known since before they could walk.

The food and service are very good. The place is kinda small and sometimes you have to stand on line for a while.
