I had a great time eating at this restaurant. The service was attentive and the layout stunning. In addition to providing excellent recommendations, our waiter informed us when we had placed a sufficient initial order. Since it was our first visit and we weren't sure what to expect in terms of portion sizes, I was grateful for that. The way our steak and grilled veggies were presented was excellent. The assortment of sauces on the table was another thing I enjoyed.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Monterrey. It definitely exceeds my expectations each time! I recommend getting the Rib Eye but also the Cauliflower was amazing and the Tuétanos are great!

I enjoyed my dining experience at this restaurant. The layout was elegant and service was attentive. Our waiter made great recommendations and let us know when we had ordered enough items to start with. I appreciated that because it was our first visit and we were unsure about the portion sizes. Our steak and grilled vegetables were both nicely presented. And I also liked the variety of sauces available at the table.

The service was amazing. Our waiter spoke a little English and was very helpful getting the best dishes. The prime rib was amazing and all the sides taste were so satisfying for my taste buds.

Very good taste experience.. we have tried the filet burgher, the New York strip filet and a good chocolate brownie at the end. Staff friendly and professional too.

Excellent place which was just a block from our hotel. Had the bone marrow steak tacos, the fried cheese and the roasted artichokes. All were done to perfection. The wait staff and hostess were attentive and professional. They brought out English menus and also sent out an English speaking waiter to help with the menu.

As featured in where Chef's Eat book. Excellent food and service. Suggest you come here with a group of people, so you can try many dishes. Grilled radish was outstanding.

Several friends suggested I go to this place to eat. It's definitely worth the price and it's 5 Stars.
The Ribeye chicharrones are amazing, the ribeye as a main dish also, you can taste the amazing flavor
Next was the artichoke and the aioli sauce to dip.
Please order the fried noodle tacos and fill with the chicharrones.

We came and order drinks to start. The wine list is very well crafted as well. The food menu is not very extensive but for of decadent descriptions confirmed by the palate. We order cauliflower for starters and was delicious. Then proceeded with the octopus for the main and it was amazing. You might want to order meats but as pescatarian I did not. Then fries with truffle oil and of course didn’t skip the pecan pie made to order a la mode. The service was beyond standards. Is a classic restaurant of Monterrey and a must for anyone interested in high mixology, food & hospitality !

Good food, good staff, decent atmosphere (it was a little loud for a nice place, in my opinion).
My coworkers and I had an amazing meal at La National.
We tried the Menoite Cheezy Fondue and the Grilled Artichoke for appetizers. The fondue was delicious, but needed to eat it quickly before it cooled. The server mixed the salsa/mysterious delicious substance into the cheese when they brought it out. Our artichoke was unfortunately not the meatiest, but at no fault of the restaurant, it was still incredible at serving as a vehicle for the butter.
A couple of us had the Rock Salt Fillet, it came served with roasted garlic. The meat was cooked to perfection, it was tender and flavorful, practically melted in your mouth. The Adobo Pork Ribs were devoured by my coworker, they were thoroughly covered in something like a spicy marinara. And the Spicy Pork Stew from Montemorelos was very good, especially eaten inside of the provided tortillas.
We also ordered 3 desserts, none of which I know the exact names for. The blueberry fudge brownie, which was perfectly heated with an interior that spilled out of the middle. A macadamia cheesecake, which wasn't a great traditional cheesecake, but the macadamia flavor was excellent as well as the candied macadamia that topped it. It was also served with a smoldering cinnamon stick. There was also a type of banana cream pie that made me like banana cream pie because it was so delicious (and also had a very Spanish name).
Our server was on top of refills on our chips and salsa at the start of the meal, refills on water throughout, and was very friendly and polite.
We had a great meal, I would definitely go there again for more chips and salsa, another fillet, and another brownie.

Excellent food, good atmosphere medium+ level prices. The rib-eye steak was exquisitely performed, with a very well chosen cut. The ceviche was excellent, as well as the souces and dips of the rest of the dishes.
Really nice, highly recommended restaurant.

Amazing food! We had the vegetables, ribeye chicharrones, octopus, and ribeye with garlic! For dessert a wonderful pistachio cake!

Great place, it’s expensive but the food and drinks quality are worthy, good service.
We tried the rib eye cooked inside a bed of sea salt and was amazing we also tried the rib eye Del Monico which is a take made by they chef in which they grill the center cut of the rib eye and the cap and the lip which are the pieces with the most fat are thrown into the frier to make rib eye style pork rind. They also have as appetizer a fried cauliflower that tastes amazing.

Excellent place to eat! Price/quality wise is balanced. Waitress attention was incredible. It was a great gastronomic experience for me. Totally recommend! Can’t wait to go back

This is definitely one of the must visit places when visiting Monterey.
It's a chic place with great service and absolutely great food. Try the onion soup and the salmon dish. They were excellent.
We also shared a pistachio cake, it's huge and delicious.

Outstanding cuisine. Great service. Go eat here without hesitation. Don't forget to bring your appetite.
