From the same chef who brought you Tierra del sol - but legit the cocktail list here is superior. The Tetelas are amazing. The courtyard is beautiful. The staff are lovely. Perfect lunch.

Very nice concept of a blend between a restaurant and a mezcal house. The lunch menu consists of a few choices to eat and drink, but large enough to have a full experience in authentic Oaxacan cuisine. I ordered tetelas and they didn't disappoint. The mezcal is a delight. I recomend the award-winning coyote agave, neat or cocktail. There is also a showroom where they explain the production process involved in mezcal, from harvesting to bottling. Quite an experience. Definitely a must. Five stars.

Probably one of the best breakfasts or meals I've ever had in Mexico. The tetelas colorada was amazing! Outstanding service. Choclate oaxaqueno was delicious. The courtyard was beautiful and it's also dog friendly. I'd 100% recommend this place and I know ill be trying to come back before I leave the city.

We had a delightful breakfast there this morning. Everything from the fresh squeezed orange juice to our dishes to the freshly brewed coffee was great.

Delicious courtyard chef run restaurant. Eclectic menu for all tastes. We especially enjoyed the Cañada (beef) and Cuenca (pork). The prices are very reasonable and I would have to say that the service was the best that we have ever had. The chef even came out of the kitchen to see if we were enjoying our experience. Restaurants like this are what make Oaxaca City the culinary capital of Mexico.

OMG, This is by far the best restaurant in Oaxaca, delicious and ethnic flavors, and incredible cheap prices. Check out el menú del día for only 3€.

A beautiful experience to be had here. If you like mezcal I recommend doing the tasting which is paired with three different tetelas.

A light lunch of tetelas perfect for a hot day. The highlight was without a doubt the day's incredible Agua del Día, a kind of sweet cucumber water, which was the perfect refreshment and has ever since stuck in my mind whenever I'm thirsty.

Amazing place for food, mezcal and live music. I have eaten here more times than I can count when I spend time in Oaxaca, and it only gets better each time! The tetelas (in my opinion) are the best in the city. My favorite is to come for breakfast. If you are in town when they are having jazz night, do not miss it! The staff are super warm and friendly and the space is gorgeous!

We came by in the evening for dinner and found some great veggie options here. We’d had a bit of a hard time finding quality vegetarian dishes in Mexico so it was really nice to find somewhere that included such good options for us. We ordered both the asparagus with chayotes and cheese, as well as the huitlacoche dish which was definitely the highlight.

We went to Baltazar after walking past it and we were definitely happy that we did. We ate some of our favorite food and drank the best micheladas while in Oaxaca. The menu is very eclectic and incorporates food from difference regions of Oaxaca. You get an authentic experience with a modern twist. The swanky patio is such a beautiful space and the service was on point. I would highly recommend putting Baltazar on your list of places to check out! We actually ended up going back a second time for their New Years Day brunch and it was incredible. Thanks again for the awesome experiences!

Perfect courtyard with delicious food and great mezcal. The service was exceptional, Geraldo and Miriam took great care of us! A must visit for a relaxing lunch or after dinner Jazz.

really great vegetarian options (which i struggled with a fair bit in oaxaca!) - would highly recommend the cauliflower taco, avocado tetelas and huitlacoche quesadilla. nice setting too!
