The service here was exceptional. Maria at reception went above and beyond to help me through some last minute changes that came up in my plans. I'd recommend this hostal on that alone, but it's also got great rooms, location and a lovely rooftop.

Staff were lovely and super friendly. Breakfast is delicious (eggs are done nicely!)

Great location!!

The staff take a lot of pride and keep the place extremely clean, bed was made and towel was included which was very nice, almost as a hotel! Kitchen is well equipped and bathrooms are also very nice.

Only reason I left in the end was that my dorm was a little bit hot and stuffy.

Terrace has lovely views of the town and sunset!

Great place with great staff. People are really attentive and helpful. The only downside is that they don't offer laundry service, and, as it is located quite close to clubs, it can get loud during the night. Great if you want to Party, hard if you are a light dreamer.

Nice chill hostel with a local friendly vibe. Small and very relaxed vibe. Not a party hostel. You can sleep well. The cleaning people are nice. Front desk staff are nice. Location is great. The private rooms are so cheap for what you get. I was trying to leave Oaxaca sooner but couldn't because of how comfortable these rooms were.

The best place to stay in Oaxaca so far! What I like is the cleanliness, the position and the fact the Hostal is very well organised. But most of all, I met amazing people working there, always ready to help you and very friendly. Highly recommended

Stayed here 6 nights after initially booking 4. Staff are excellent and very friendly. On check in I was given lots of useful advice for the area. Hostel is perfectly situated to be walking distance to everything. Beds are super comfortable. Mentioned to staff that the first night was a bit stuffy in the room and was given control of the bedroom ac unit for the rest of my stay. Only thing that could use attention is the shower head that sprays in a few directions other than the main direction (but doesnt effect the shower which is good)

I think is one of the best hostel ever. It is in the center of Oaxaca city. The staff of the hostel is super nice and friendly , always ready to satisfy the requests of the guests and give tips . They served a really good breakfast every morning and the rooms are very clean. There is a terrace with a wonderful view and a kitchen where you can cook your meals . I hope to find other hostel like this because I had great times and for few days I felt part of that little beautiful family.

The place is fine, staff is always available and friendly. Breakfast (American: fruit, tea, coffee and toasts) is included. They have shared and private rooms. Location is amazing; just among interesting restaurant and hot spots. Common areas are small but friendly.

The place is located 2 streets away from el Zócalo, it's very affordable and beds are comfortable. They serve a small breakfast from 8 to 10. Showers are inside the room, something I haven't seen in hostels, but they're OK. Overall a nice place to stay during your visit. Lost of places to visit around do to its locations and places to eat.

Excellent hostel! I'm not a fan of big airport-type hostels, and this was cozy, intimate and super clean. Each room comes with its own IMMACULATE bathroom and ea bed has its own outlet and light. Staff is wonderful and local (it's nice when a hostel hires from the local economy). Breakfast is delicious (eggs, fruit, toast). Cute patio and roof garden full of plants, and our dorm had its own cozy terrace! Maybe the only 2 things I'd improve is the spotty wifi (esp in the rooms) and windows that let mosquitoes in (no screens or filters, but it's too hot to sleep w them closed), but this is easy to forgive when everything else is so cute and pleasant throughout the hostel, and you can tell that the owner really poured her soul into making this place so lovely, so the hostel definitely deserves 5 stars.

Excellent beds and pillows - I slept very well here, probably because my dorm faced the courtyard and not the street. Free brekkie was fruit, toast and yogurt, but they will add 2 eggs made to order for 20 pesos. Lockers are large enough for a full-size backpack or suitcase. Nice rooftop terrace with both sun and shade areas. Great location just 2 blocks north of the Zocalo with heaps of stores & restos all around.

Nice welcoming, all the facilities are clean, they can keep your backpack all day long, very cheap, with a rooftop, AND in the very downtown, close to many museums, bars and restaurants

Central location, comfortable beds and hot showers. Staff was really kind. I accidentally forgot my shoes and they found another guest who was coming to the same city and brought my shoes. Gracias !!!
