Aeropuerto Internacional Miguel Hidalgo (GDL)

This airport is beautiful and modern! Every time I go visit my family this airport is fast and efficient. I prefer the red eye flights or early in the morning. I love how many varieties of food, and gift shops. Just remember at the airport everything is expensive so be prepared to spend.

Public servers that helped my daughter were polite, friendly and excellent. Recommend getting special services for your seniors or special need children or adults. Ask when you buy your tickets

Well organized and clean, except for the pet relief zone. That area reeked of ammonia after leaving the pets' pee there for so long without cleaning it properly.

I didn't film enough, but yeah that's a good airport, we came to pick my bro and the size of it is massive, there's a lotta business for buying food, hotels, gas stations and whatever you need, nice airport

Very pleased with this airport. First time here, flew in and out from LAX. Very clean, very open. Lots of seating and charging areas. Soooo many shops and restaurants to choose from. Would likely return and highly recommend.

Good medium-sized airport with domestic and international flights.
Easy to navigate. They are expanding, so expect it to be a great airport, maybe #1 in Mexico.

Excellent and efficient airport. We arrived an hour before our flight departed and was able to check in, get through security, shop for a hat, and get to our gate with 30 minutes left.

Flew out of Guadalajara this past Sunday and this airport is great. Going through Security was very quick (5 minutes), there’s plenty of restaurants to choose from, and lots of charging ports available. The airport is going through renovations but I’m sure once they’re complete, it’ll be an amazing airport

Big enough to connect to the world, small enough not to be a complete pain in the bytt.

This place is frankly heaven, compared to the mess that is Benito Juárez in Mexico City. Well organized and easy to walk, Miguel Hidalgo is easily one of the best airports in this part of the world.

Very well organized airport, always crowded and cars always stuck lol.
I don't understand why they ask for Covid testing, guess it is a good business for them and they just say it is requirements for US where in US they never ask for it at the airport.

I was impressed. Guadalajara is the second biggest city in the country and definitely the airport feels like that (they are expanding it). Despite it is quite a decently sized airport they managed to make it streamlined and easy to navigate. Also easy pick ups and drop offs. Several areas to sit and the security checks were fast.

Volaris Airlines ✈✈✈ is a great low cost carrier in Mexico. They have great service and prices. They have food and snacks 🍟for sale onboard plus beer 🍻 and wine 🍷. 😋😋😋 I love the way the flight attendants 👩🏽‍✈👩🏽‍✈👩🏽‍✈ open the luggage bins and go row by row for passengers to disembark. It is very orderly.

Very competent airport. Arrivals, baggage, official airport taxi, check in, departures, security all quick and easy. Some nice shopping too. Five stars!

No line at Customs. My bags were ready by the time I got through immigration and arrived at the baggage check. Taxi line was long but it moved really quickly.

Arrival from USA involved a stop at Immigration with a completed form and then a stop at Customs after collecting luggage and completing a second form. Keep moving forward and you can’t mistake where to go. Clean restrooms upon arrival and clean building. If you’re taking a taxi, prepay in the terminal before you exit. Staff were efficient.
People were polite and followed protocol without a fuss.

Super great airport, it sometimes gets overcrowded definitely recommend getting here 3 hours before your flight departures. There was a lot of traffic when I got here. This airport is one of the best I've ever visited.

Love this airport, never had an issue. Am in and out in minutes when traveling with no luggage. Even during high peak season they manage to get everyone through in good time. I can't speak to how long the check -in times are, I only travel with carry on pieces. But that is more of an airline issue than the airport itself. Also, the duty free liquor options are nice. They have deals throughout the year, including during the holidays.

Drop off and pick up has improved, security is decent to get through taking little time to get through. Immigration is the same, always quick and friendly. They are fixing a lot of things so many places are under construction so hopefully the little things will fix themselves. Announcements in English and Spanish. Very nice bathrooms all over. Long term/short term parking garage is easy to get in and out, price is good too. Theres plenty of food and drink options, tip-if you go to the C/D gate, skip the first Starbucks thats always full, there is another at the end of the hallway in C. They have pet bathroom stations and a kids play area also.
