Even though the original experiment did not go as planned, the facility was very interesting and worth the stop. The tour guide was a fountain of knowledge and full of little bits of neat to know trivia. The planning and technology used for its creation is impressive as are the intentions for continued use into the future. Biosphere II is well worth the time.

Beautiful canyon. I believe they offer horseback riding, it's a great hike in any case. We road out bike up to the canyon.

Beautiful oasis in the Canyon quiet... almost alone among the vegetation and sand. Pleasant home for family of 4 including daughters 11 and 13.

We kayaked around the mangrove islands and had a wonderful time. Parts of it are very shallow and we got out and waded. The birds are amazing!

Really great place for hiking, fun and exciting. Just not for little kids. The little kids get tired easily and want to be carried.
