Interesting concept, and a great culinary experience. This are by far the most outrageous, and weirdly delicious tacos I've ever had. We even got to meet Chef Herrera. :)

Excellent and unique place to eat. Innovative creations based on Mexican homemade style food. The place is an underground restaurant. All dishes are worth to try. Not pricy at all and the homemade refreshments (aguas frescas) are prepared as they should be. I have visited this place to time, the second time straight fro the airport to this place. Don’t forget to try Las Zamoranas.

Something out of the ordinary. Not what I expected from a Star chef but definitely different is good. Design and place is crazy and the food is amazing. Definitely coming back soon.

Amazing local culinary experience. This is not a restaurant it's a place where people with style and taste hangout. It's better than a restaurant. The host, Chef Herrera is a legend. Only for the hip.

Amazing menu. Every item is very unique to other culinary experiences I've had in Monterrey and all dishes are interestingly regional. Good tasting menu as well! :)

Not everyone knows this secret place but is amazing!!!! Try taco de fideo. The entrance does not look like a nice place but it is.

It's like eating at a Michelin 5 starred restaurant but in a casual atmosphere. Artistic dishes with fresh home made ingredients. Wow. This is a MUST go and let them choose the dishes for you.

I went one time and we love the food. Each Tuesday, the Chef Herrera invites a Chef of the region and prepare special dishes for that day. Please be sure to take reservation this special day. Chef Herrera shares a combination of Mexican food style with other cultures. You will have a great gastronomic experience.

This place is carefree but don't get it wrong , the food is the star (as should be) great food to share and enjoy with your friends. This place is for small gathering. Chef Herrera is an icon at the city on the Mexican gastronomy reengineering. Con. The service can be improved but as a "Fonda" you get on the mood of zero formal. Ask for the "agua fresca" to enjoy with your food.

Amazing place to have dinner in Monterrey, with really great examples of mexican cousin in a really creative and tasty recipes. Sometimes they do pairing dinners with mexican vineyards but any other night its a great choice to eat. If you go there don't forget to try the barbacoa's tamal, its delicious.

I got the res al curry, camarones en adobo, and puchero de res clásico. All were excellent with res al curry being least memorable. No English menus but you can also look at what others order and follow suit.

Wonderful menu... don't order just one thing... Order small portions of different things... Muy Rico!! ✌✌

Best place to eat

Wow! A complete surprise to find this quality of food from what looks like a ho-hum food stall next to a run down mechanic shop. The food was delicious and the prices very reasonable.

Chef Herrera was very kind. Good proposal of dishes. We took Nice photos with him as well

A party for your mouth! You have to try the cacachuatados, shrimp, and costillas. But, you can’t go wrong with anything. We can’t wait to try this place again.

Pick one of the many tasting menus. If you choose to try per dish try eggrolls of chicharrón and encacahuatadas.

Unassuming frontage, but interesting and unique flavours in the food. This is a foodies place without the price tag or requiring fancy clothes.
