Breakfast brings me here. Not so crowded. Standard choices but breakfast with the view is one-of-a-kind. Hard to mention which is the best item for everything is mediocre. Dosa station seems interesting but potato curry is the only option to go with.

Even though it's kinda old school, the standard is there. Everything is peaceful and silent and also has some bar and massage near it 😉 you can go check it out.
Unlike some so-called luxury hotels, whose breakfast is like a random local teashop or noontime food court at Junction City(I'm talking about Wyndham Grand Yangon Hotel).

One of the finest hotels in Yangon, superbly located with incredible views of the lake, green spaces and the Shwedagon Pagoda. High-quality food and beverage, old-world, cultural charm and ambience and an exceptionally high level of management, service and guest relations.

All of hosts are well trained & friendly especially KoKoGyi, Simon, Leo, Neo, Lamin, Thet Aung, Stanly, Myat Mon Khine, Nyein Tun Ag, Sophia, Yadanar, William & Ei Myat from Front Office team & Gary from Lobby Lounge are the best.. I will definitely come back to this beautiful hotel.

It is one of the choices for expatriates and rich Myanmar people. It calculates the rate in USD but in official exchange rate which is very low compared to the market rate. Still, expensive for the Myanmar people who are generally in the economic crisis.

The hotel has lovely well maintained grounds, beautifully decorated lobby and excellent service. Our checking in and out experience was smooth and efficient.

The rooms are spacious and comes with soft pillows, comfortable beddings and fluffy towels. The room is furnished with a small TV, desk to work from, a love seat, lounge chair with a footstool to just relax or read from.

The pool is huge, clean, well maintained and did not run out of fresh clean towels.

The restaurant where breakfast was served is elegant with huge windows amd comfortable chairs. The breakfast spread felt sparse compared to the BKK one but the service provided makes up for that. The coffee was excellent.

The bartender made a really good negroni on the first evening, while my margarita on the second evening could have been better. Again the servers here were also very attentive.

We also tried their high tea. They had a generous selection of sweet and savory. We loved everything about our high.

This turned out to be an excellent staycation. I highly recommend it. It is worth the value and more.

Chatrium is a great hotel, and at a convenient location - close to the downtown and easy to getting around. The pool is relaxing with nice garden where we enjoyed walking around. The breakfast was nice and have a variety of Western, Myanmar and Japanese - enjoyed fresh vegetables and fruit everyday. Thank you Tina for making the booking process easy and responding to our request being in the room that is peaceful and quiet. All the staff looked after us during the stay - we felt safe, welcomed and comfortable. We recommend Chatrium and look forward to staying again.

We really enjoyed our two week stay at the Chatrium - with its larger open spaces and garden atmosphere. The friendly staff made an effort to help us feel welcome and comfortable - especially Ms Thin Zar (Tina) who organised our stay and some special requests - thank you again. Ms Khin, Leo, William and the rest of the team were also quick to assist when we needed anything.
This is an older hotel - but we love the location and highly recommend - please support them and be understanding guests at this time. There was one wedding during our stay, which we enjoyed seeing! Thanks again Chatrium Hotel and we’re looking forward to our next stay 🙏🏽

Rooms are very spacious, quiet and with a view!! Breakfast is great, there is so much choice for all tastes! The swimming pool is also very nice, clean and large. The hotel is not too far from the very famous pagoda, although we took a taxi to go there (traveling with 2 young kids, it was not really walking distance).

We were celebrated our Friend's Birthday last 6months ago.
Especially staff courtesy, food quality, room tidiness and facility are beyond satisfication.

I recently stayed here for 4 nights and I hadnothing but pleasant experiences. The staffs were very friendly, especially at the lobby cafe. The breakfast selection was over the top and everything was delicious. While the gym was small, they made up by having one of the best lap pools. The only minor complaint I have was the bed was a touch too hard for my liking. Will stay there again next time.

Very nice hotel. More of a local brand here than the big hotel chains but in terms of luxury and service, it is quite competitive for the price. The premises are spacious and beautifully decorated with local Burmese culture along with a modern touch. Rooms are well equipped and cozy as well. Like more fancier hotels, they have a turn in service in additional to regular room cleaning that helps prep your room for sleep. Thought that was nice. Location wise it is away from the major attractions downtown but it is right beside the royal lake which is an attraction by itself. The staff speak English and are very pleasant to interact with. The breakfast is a bit lacking in quantity and quality but is generally sufficient given that the regular price of it is 15 USD only. Overall great choice for a stay in Yangon.

It’s one of the best hotels in YGN for sure! It has a unique architecture, cozy environment, amazing view of KDG Lake & Shwedagon Pagoda and many more. For me, I’d rate Chatrium as the best hotel in town. Their pool is spectacular

Definitely a five star quality hotel and service, comparable to a Hilton. But as a vacationer, I wouldn’t recommend this for just every traveler, here’s why:
location location location. This is a business hotel located in a quiet business district that’s only accessible via car. The nearest restaurant is a 5-10min walk and besides that you’ll have to walk 20min to another restaurant, especially if you’re looking for a more casual meal instead of the fancy meals at US prices on the lake. You’re paying premium for all the beautiful conference centers and meeting rooms that you won’t be using. You also have to have the hotel call taxis for you because traffic is pretty sparse here. If I were to choose again, I’d stay with a nice inn in downtown that’s half as fancy but also half the price so I would be able to try out more local cafes and restaurants. That’s just my 2 cents. This is great if you want an expensive but fancy breakfast, posh accommodations with good view, more seclusion and more “honeymoon” feel.

Really nice hotel and comfortable rooms and facilities. Staff are really nice and friendly. rooms are clean but toilet is quite small. the most I really like is seat. nothing special to be recommend because everything is fine and Flawless. The view from our rooms is perfect. Sunset with the Shwedagon Pagoda is really impressive. Pool and gym are good. But during I stayed there is some maintenance is it's make a little bit Distub otherwise everything is perfect.

breakfast is really nice I really love the pudding cake. And I would recommend it.
Thanks.
