I visited Rangoon (now Yangon, Myanmar) in Burma 2015, July. I pay a visit to last Mughal Emperor saint Bahadur Shah Zafar. There is tomb in side the Dargah. Uper one tomb is fake and the just below one is original. Feel historic to visit there.

A beautifully calm serene site of tremendous historic significance! Nearly all PMs of India have paid homage to this great fallen soul.
It closes a bit early around afternoon, there’s hardly any crowd, lots to read up, and don’t be apprehensive about hen locals around, they are only there to guide you around. Without any expectations..

Very few people know about the final resting place of the last Mughal emperor, Sultan Bahadur Shah II; it was even difficult for the taxi drivers! This is a must visit if you know about the story of the Indian rebellion of 1857 and the tragic aftermath. While the tomb is small, it's immaculately maintained and quietly elegant. Some of the effects of the sultan and his wife (minus the valuables, which I think are scattered around museums in the UK) are also on display.

A very moving tribute.

An important part of the Mughal Empire’s history, divided by today’s borders. The last emperor of the Mughal Empire was exiled to Rangoon, and buried here in an unmarked grave in 1862, only to be discovered in 1991, and decorated into a shrine he deserved in 1994. Worth a visit if you have interest in pieces of history that were deliberately thrown away by colonializations. Helpful Imam of the mosque can give a nice brief of history, and if you wish can give a monetary donation.
As with all religious places, observe modesty in dressing et al.

کتنا بدنصیب ھے ظفر دفن کے لیے
دو گز زمین بھی نہ ملی کوئے یار میں

Last Mughal ruler of India Abu Zafar Sirajuddin Mohammed Bahadur Shah took his last breath in Rangoon, Burma on 7th November 1862 outside of his home country and was buried here. His grave was lost and was rediscovered on 1911 AD. A mausoleum was constructed in 1994. The king was given a status of saint in his life and his tomb is known as Dargah.

The last mughal emperor of India, Bahadur Shah Zafar was exiled to Burma now known as Myanmar after the uprising or war of independence in 1857 (commonly referred to as the mutiny). He died in Rangoon now known as Yangon and was buried there in an unknown location (till 1991) near his wife Zeenat Bibi's grave. Only recently while making an extension for the women's praying chamber, his grave was finally located one floor below. He was a Sufi Saint more than an emperor which was a title only in name as he was not really interested in ruling and his kingdom did not extend beyond the Red Fort in Delhi as most of it was under the rule of the Maratha Peshwas.

A sad tale of last Mugal King and his family. Well maintained and well explained on spot. Leaves you with quite sad thoughts especially after reading the Gazal written by Bahadur Shah Jafar.
