Welcome

Went to 'welcome' after reading the good reviews and it is right next to our hotel. We were the only people in there for lunch, so the service was great! We got complimentary poppadoms and dip also lentil and onion soup. We ordered two types of curry, two salads and some rice. Everything was delicious, especially the salads. We then received a cooked banana with honey and a taster tray of sweets. A truly great experience and we left absolutely stuffed and satisfied. Very good prices too. All that and a beer for under 30 aud.

Interesting place with a wow factor. Puppet show, local folk dance and local musician to accompany your dinner. Shows at 2 time, 6pm or 730pm. Free show!
Better make booking for dinner during show time because it will be packed by tour groups.
Free soup, crackers and deserts eventhough we just order ala carte.
Oh, they even give you a little souvenirs

Too bad their menu wasnt descriptive enough. I think they mean local Myanmar food instead of "typical".

Really amazing food, surrounding and service. As the name shows, you are welcome and feel cozy like home. the shows is 6：30 and 7：30 every night. We like curry and local fish here. the toast banana is delicious. recommended!

Lovely food.. complimentry soup and some nice local salad. And all together with local music and performance. Really nice surprice here in Bagan.

Great place with great vibe. We went there for late lunch so it wasn’t very busy at that time.

Decoration was amazing. With a touch of Burmese culture, art and French chandeliers. This is the kind of decoration which grasps the rich culture and heritage of Burma.

Food was exceptional. True to burmese taste. Food presentation was very unique and cultural. We kept getting multiple complimentary dishes. Pone ye gyi especially was unlike others I have tried.

We decided to give this place a go as it's right in front of our hotel. But good food, plenty of complimentary dishes (including dessert platter) and live performance exceeded our expectations. Definitely recommend this place.

By far the best service i have had in all of Asia,
Being the cheep arse that i am i decided to try this place and got the chicken cashew with rice for 6000 kyat i proceded to get a free bottle of water, 2 free plates of crackers a free soup some free apple cinnamon thing, and some other vegetable stick plate with sauce, upon leaving i also got some watermellon and pineapple slices with a candle and was given a wooden wistle, all this for 4.40usd and i was the only person there. Have been told they do puppet shows there aswell... highly highly recomend

밥도 말하지않아도 계속해서 리필해주고 엄청 친절하며 마지막에 조금한 기념품 같은것까지도 줌
미얀마 전통적인 분위기로 엄청좋고 저녁에 하는 전통공연도 함께 볼수잇어 미얀마 전통을 한번에 느껴보기에 완벽함.

Manchmal entdeckt man die besten Dinge durch Zufall. Wir würden herzlich begrüßt, die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Es spielte Livemusik und eine Show gab es auch. Das Essen ist sicher etwas "teurer", aber sehr lecker und wir wurden mehr als Satt. Dazu gab es Krabbenchips, eine Suppe, Salat und Nachtisch einfach so dazu. Klare Empfehlung! :)

Excellent restaurant aussi bien pour le midi que pour le soir. Lorsqu’on commande un plat, il y a un apéritif, 2 accompagnements et un désert compris dans le prix. Les prix sont très raisonnables pour la qualité du service et de la nourriture. Le cadre est très joli, calme le midi, avec des animations le soir. Le meilleur restaurant testé à Bagan !

Bellissimo. Durante la cena abbiamo assistito ad uno spettacolo di marionette e musica dal vivo. Mentre aspettavano i piatti ordinati ci hanno portato qualche stuzzichino e a fine pasto un piatto di frutta e dolci locali ( Palm sugar) da provare almeno una volta! Personale gentile e disponibile.

Un petit lieu merveilleux tout en tek, selon les construction des maisons de moines. Réservez au premier, le nouveau rez de chaussée n'a pas de charme.
Le service est très smart et professionnel.
Comptez 12€ pour un bon repas birman ( le curry)

quizás un poco más caro que el resto pero se paga agusto ....además de un lugar bonito comida abundante y trato excelente se incluyen actuaciones en directo ...al final no resulta tan caro
