Sunset Viewing Pagoda 669

One of the few pagodas still open to go up. Got a nice flat rooftop that's easy to access.

Great place to watch sunrise ! The way up is easy and seems to have been re opened very recently, probably by locals or tourists...

One year ago, when I came to Bagan, almost temples couldn't climb. Fortunatly, a local guy showed me how to get there to see the sunrise. Now, you can search on the Google Maps, it's lucky for you.

Simple structure, a little further down the dirt road from Thakyapone and Thakyahit. It is definitely climbable for sunrise, as you can see by the photo. However when I got closer I couldn't for the life of me figure out how people got up there (especially without climbing on areas of brickwork that appeared unsturdy and looked like they required shoes). Out of respect for the temple (both physically and spiritually), it's probably best not to climb it, but if you do, be careful and show respect

看來像一幢廢置樓房，可到達天台。西面遠眺伊洛瓦底江。觀夕陽只有江景，缺乏寺廟襯托，稍嫌單調。東面觀日出的話，景致一般。
