Sakura Inn

My brother and I stayed here for four fantastic nights while we explored the temples of Bagan. The Inn was part of Bagan Thiripyitsaya Sanctuary Resort. The rooms we had were spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The view out the window was over an old pagoda and large gardens.

The pool area is great with a large area to relax while enjoying the huge swimming pool. The pool was a tad murky and needed more cleaning done but was heaven after spending a day exploring the temples in the heat.

The food was simply delicious as was the fresh juices. They have their own organic vegetable garden supplying the restaurant with clean healthy veggies and fruit.

I managed to have a deep tissue oil massage which was just what I needed after a big day exploring the temples. The staff were so helpful and friendly.

Great value for money. Rooms are okay but the view from the resort restaurant, the breakfast quality and the service provided by the Thiripyitsaya resort staff (which Sakura guests have access to) is superb. Plus the best pool in Bagan. Recommended!

Great value for money. Rooms need renovation but the Swimming pool is amazing. Great service 👍

The pool is super cood but the food is over priced for the quality.

The Sakura is the budget accomodation attached to a resort. The facilities are excellent. The budget rooms are as expected. Overall a good experience, though the room is on the expensive side. Hiring the peddle bikes is ok, though they are not overly well maintained

It's an older wing of the Thiripyitsaya resort. The staff is extremely polite. This place has simply the best views of the irrawaddy river - stunning sun set!!! However, the food and drinks (carry your own water :-)) are EXTREMELY expensive; a complete rip off.

Located on the premises of a nicer hotel, so get the benefit of the nicer facilities (though you have to walk about 5 minutes to get to the front desk). Renting an ebike or taxi is a couple dollars more expensive than elsewhere, but we were happy to pay for the convenience of not walking far out. The included breakfast buffet was quite good
