Governor’s House

Great view and pleasant place. You can tour around the past English governor's house full with many realistic human sculptures and paintings. They serve very delicious local brew coffee and you can enjoy it at the unique coffee longue with forest view. Everything worth the price. 👍

Enjoyed two days of stay at this lovely property. While we were given twin bed for a couple (which wasn’t clarified on booking), the property makes up for it. One day they had a breakfast spread but the next day it was a la carte breakfast but both were good. Fruits in the breakfast tasted good and fresh.
Pros: Good place. Decent price.
Cons: Some weird smell in the washroom.

Do visit the Governor’s house which is a 2 min ride by buggy. It seems a bit creepy with those wax statues but an interesting place to see.

The bungalows are all well equipped with hot and cold feature. The bungalow 405 is the only one with a pool in it.

When I was in Pyin Oo Lwin , had chance to visit Governor House . According to the information , this building wasn't original one . Someone used original blue print of the house and built like the original one . Anyhow , nice to visit that place , there was a coffee bar , pool was inside , wax sculptures of governor and guard were interested to see .

Remarkable and one of the historical buildings in Pyin Oo Lwin. Really a nice spot for outdoor photo hunting.
The place charges 1000 Kyats for outside view.
4000 Kyats for both inside and outside look around including complimentary drink.

Charming and peaceful location for a coffee and a little museum tour. Entry ticket costs 5 USD but includes a free coffee or tea.

Very well maintained Governor House in MayMyo. The entrance fee is around 4000 mmk for local / 4$ for foreigners . The also do serve coffee below in their coffee shop. Very Serene and nicely decorated mansion . A good place to take alot of photos for the tourist, it is a British colonial building and you will feel like Europe when in there.

Marvelous find in Pyin oo Lwin - a building which transports you directly into the Downton Abbey era... I did not stay at this place, just paid 2 USD to explore the old heritage building... Whilst the "exhibition" certainly could need a sprucing up, the building in itself more than merits a visit...

Amazing Historical Place with Amusing Forest...

Visitors must go there because it an old house but has a cafe inside it.!! It is one the beautiful place.

Am extremely interesting house, full of history! $5 entry for foreigners with a complimentary cup of coffee.

Nice place for photo shot. Peaceful place to relax. Quite and a good place for daydreaming.
