Chez Alice

Great experience. I stayed in a bungalow and was more than happy with the cleanliness and facilities. Staff are lovely and treat you like family and help you a lot with your further travel. For a solo traveler like myself this was more than welcome. I was able to spot multiple chameleons and geckos on the property, including this guy in the picture which I spotted right in front of my bungalow. The restaurant is fantastic too.
The value for money on this one is hard to beat, can only recommend you staying here.

Nice design and views. Affordable and good value for money. And I loved the food! (Smoked tuna potato salad... Crocodile stew... Homemade chocolate ice-cream!). There's also massage available

We spent two nights here recently during our visit to Isalo National Park. The bungalow was very spacious and comfortable, with a large bed and nice details. We enjoyed sitting on the porch bench for watching the sunset. The resort is in walking distance to the busy town center and national park visitor center, yet completely removed from the noise and business. Food was very nice, including the picnics that were prepared for the national day excursion. Lastly, good English was spoken. Very well recommended for a stay at Isalo!

Place is simple, but I loved it. Very relaxing, also during the day when there was breeze.

Food there is also tasty, I had my dinner and it was well made!

Great view, great kitchen. Nice stuff, friendly french owner. Most of them with good enough english. Bungallows are clean, with bathrooms, but electricity only at afternoon / evening. Wifi at the restaurant (afternoon and evening). Absolutly satisfied.

Very nice place with nice bungalows and rooms at various prices. Nice bar/restaurant to chill out and have dinner. Book ahead!

Très bon séjour chez Alice , nous avons été très bien reçu par Antoine et son équipe .
La vue est magnifique et en plus la cuisine est délicieuse .

Les bungalow de l’hôtel sont simple mais sympa, l’espace bar-restaurant est très agréable ! Le patron et toute l’équipe sont près à rendre plusieurs services (pour trouver un taxi brousse, un guide à Isalo ou encore un médicament.) La vue est magnifique et on y fait de belles rencontres !
PS: si vous gagnez au solitaire la tournée est offerte !

Autentico e ben fatto per lo standard che vuole avere. Le camere a costi piú alti hanno un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Qualche piccolo dettaglio sulla cucina, la cottura del filetto di carne non corrispondeva alle mie richieste, ma era comunque buono e a buon prezzo, dettagli che non compromettono il fatto che raccomando questo posto e che ci tornerò. É un bellissimo posto.

Maravilloso! Habitaciones amplias, cómodas y acogedoras, zonas exteriores preciosas y muy bien cuidadas, vistas al parque nacional con un bello atardecer sobre Isalo, restaurante original y exquisito... Muy buena relación calidad precio, el mejor de la zona con diferencia!

* Perfekt * die totale Idylle, sehr an die Umgebung angepasst. Ruhig, sauber, warmes Wasser zum Duschen. Tolle Bungalows mit guten Matratzen.
Abends oft tolle Musikseasons vom Besitzer und seinen Freunden die sich wunderbar in dieses Paradies einfügen. Hier ist alles passend und echt. Sehr natürlich und dadurch schön. Weiter so! (Haus-)Rum Arangé unbedingt probieren!

Nous avons logé dans le bungalow familial à 5. Simple, propre et coquet, avec de l'eau chaude solaire.
Très bonne table et un accueil aimable et chaleureux des hôtes.

Per chi vuole andare al parco Dell isalo, questo posto è molto accogliente, nel mezzo del deserto. Dalla strada principale non si vede, ci si deve addentrare per 200 MT circa per una strada sterrata. Le stanze sono dei bungalow semplici ma essenziali,(un po' come tutti gli alloggi low cost in Madagascar), e tutti i letti hanno le zanzariere. Il bagno era interno con la doccia, l acqua calda c era. Abbiamo pagato 57000 a notte per una tripla(15€ in tre!!)
Personale cordialissimo, gestito da giovani che parlano un ottimo inglese imparato da autodidatta e con i clienti, oltre al francese. Il pezzo forte del Chez Alice è la cucina, abbiamo mangiato molto bene, al di là degli hamburger di zebù, ogni sera c era un menù fisso che variava. La prima sera abbiamo preso un menù fisso a 25000 Ar (6-7€), entrata di insalata di tonno, piatto principale spiedino di zebù (se vi piace la carne adorerete lo zebù) e dessert di tortino al cioccolato e banana.
La seconda, abbiamo preso l hamburger di zebù con ananas caramellata con patate e verdure cotte, una delizia.
In conclusione, per chi vuole fare un escursione al parco Dell isalo (che consiglio vivamente), pernottare al Chez Alice è un ottima scelta, per prezzo, luogo e cucina! Saluto Giovanni, un ragazzo che gestiva, in gamba davvero, e il musicista che ci allietava le nostre serate, voce e chitarra divina!
