What a treat to break up the long journey from Morondava to the Tsingy De Bemaraha National Park. So good we went on our return trip too!

The food really was excellent, and incredible value (2 courses for 2 people + drinks + tip was circa £25).

Make sure you book (our driver kindly did so for us while we were en route); we were outside of peak season and they were turning people away.

What a threat! By far the best restaurant in Madagascar and at reasonable prices. The service was professional and the food was simply exquisite.
The only time I ate Zebu steak, perfectly cooked, tender and with taste. This is the perfect example of a Michelin gastronomic restaurant.
For lunch during high season, there is little chance to find a table available without reservation.

Tourist hotspot on your way to the Tsingy. It feels a bit odd in this small town to see such a place full of tourists while locals snack on some 3 day old sandwiches outside. The food is good though, nothing close to gastronomic but much better than the classic Madagascar dishes. Service was great.

Still find it difficult to believe this place exists in the remote Belo. This fact in itself makes it spectacular. It can easily compete with any Michelin star restaurant and no surprise there: the owner is Michelin trained. Must stop on the grueling road from Morondava to Tsingy.

This place is completely out of this world!! It's a bit a pricier, but the food and coffee is just sooo unbelievably good. Their green pepper ice cream is the best ice cream I've had in my entire life. And the lentils salad was also amazing.

Absolutely the best food of our Madagascar 3 weeks journey. It easily beats the snobbish expensive hotel restaurants.

Had read about this place and so we were glad that our guide had booked us in here. Food was very good, and very good value (by Western standards, not by Malagasy). Toilets could be better, only clean-ish.

Big wow. Best food in Madagascar we tried so far. This place is in a middle of nowhere, litlebit pricey but it worth every cent! It's not only about the taste also art of food!

Food was awesome. If you've been missing food with gourmet touch while traveling in Madagascar, this is an excellent stop! We had leek ravioli with smoked lemon sauce that was so savory! The prawns were also amazing! Although portions are modest, they are worth it! And they have Wi-Fi that works great. Highly recommended.

Belo Sur Tsiribihina offers a large selection of resteraunts from traditional Malagasy meals to high end cuisine.

We enjoyed food from the high and and the low and this is definatly up there with the top. We had read about this place before arriving and just had to see for ourselves.

We left well fed and satisfied.

My favorite place in Belo sur Tsiribihina. We are used to take our lunch in Mazebu, untill today our client are very satisfied and always rate it as amongst the best restaurant they have been all over Madagascar. Fancy and well presented, it really worth tasting it.

Without a doubt some of the best food I had in all of Madagascar. The chef must be exceptionally well trained. Ate here twice, and everything we had was spectacular. The menu must change with availability of ingredients, but if you can get your hands on the zebu ... order it! Totally amazing. The shrimp dish as a main was also wonderful. Highly recommend.

Yes, the good reviews do this place justice. Amazing food for reasonable prices. We were glad to have an opportunity twice to have lunch here, driving up to Tsingy and back two days later. A perfect place to break the journey!

This is obviously *the* place for tourists for lunch as they travel back and forth from the Tsingys. That's not a bad thing as the food is great, the service wonderful and you can be in and out without alot of fuss. We ate there twice and enjoyed ourselves both times. We didn't choose it, our driver did but if you end up here, be happy.

By far the best meal we had in Madagascar (and for a long time before) - you have to try, even if you're not hungry.

Just incredible. Had lunch there twice and tried most of the menu. Absolute must-go for the hungry traveller that appreciates a quality dish. We loved it. .... Even the bottles of water and coke get a nice polish before serving, an example to any restaurant.

Excellent food and service. Best that we have seen in our so far 2 weeks trip in Madagaskar. Highly recommended stop!
