We ate lunch here in Ambalavao two times with our local guide. We're vegetarians and they could accommodate. If you ask a day in advance, they can make some really great vegetarian sambos/samosas with vegetables and noodles inside. We also had riz cantonais veg with egg, mine shao veg with egg, and the salade mixed/crudites. All very good. Bonus: they have cats/kittens around! They're very cute and would love a (non-salty, non-peppery) bite of your eggy.
Funny thing is they have some souvenir from Sibenik, Croatia on the wall. Would not expect to find that in Madagascar!

Great little restaurant with big portions and good prices. They have some vegetarian options. Great vegetable sambos (have to order the day before). We also loved the adorable kittens.
