Aux Bougainvillées

Clean, comfortable rooms. The food at the restaurant is amazing, but expensive. The paper factory is nice, we bought a little post card to frame at our house. The hotel is close to a main strip of the city and the big church shown in the photos. We went straight out the front gate to a bar and had a beer and grilled zebu skewers for a snack.

The Restaurant Aux Bougainvilliers is right next to the Ambalavao bus station. It is a typical Malagasy restaurant that serves dishes with authentic tastes of the region. The dishes are homemade and based only on fresh products. The restaurant is clean. The price is very affordable for a tourist.

These bungalows were on of the best on Madagascar. The room was clean and stuff really nice :)

Did not stay here but had dinner at the hotels restaurant. Wonderfull food, recommend the omolette and the fillet of zebu with onion

Enjoyed food and got marvellous picture of cameleon.

Nicht im Hotel gewesen nichts gegessen.
Aber empfehlenswert ist die Papiermanufaktur.
Eine Führung erklärt die Herstellung des wilden Papieres welches nicht wie unser bekanntes Papier hergestellt wird. Sehr interessant .
Ein anschließender Besuch im Laden gibt die Möglichkeit dies schöne Papier zu erwerben.

Cool place with nice rooms. Shower and Wi-Fi isn't great like the rest of Madagascar but the staff are friendly. Food is average and cheap. Has a paper factory close by which is cool. Overall a nice little place

Lovely looking hotel directly at the taxi brousse station. Room was clean and friendly, just the bed was uncomfortable and the moscito net a bit short. Reception and breakfast opens at 7 which is a bit too late for trips to Nationalparks or taxibrousses. The English of the stuff is not the best.
You can visit the antaimoro paper factory directly at the hotel for free.

Stayed one night. Rooms were simple, clean and comfortable. Excellent local food at restaurant.
