Restaurant Hassilabiad Appart Chez Toupie

We had a fabulous evening meal here, having booked the tagine, 2 hours earlier. The food was really great, and we brought our own wine, and took away the empty.
The restaurant is part of the apartment hotel and is very modern and clean, with a cute swimming pool. Ismail served us and was very entertaining and informative with perfect english. The family own the ‘Depot Nomad’ store next door which is a virtual alladins cave, and Omar the boss invited us to visit the next day, which we did. Recommend you visit both. Plenty of parking.

We got recommended from the hotel and thinking that it is worth to explore the traditional Moroccan food with friendly price. The staff is very helpful and funny. But better to book in advance for the Tajine because they have to cook for 2hrs.

Came in for a lunch on Sunday at 13h, must be slow time for restaurant as it was empty, but this was not a problem for the staff at all! Ready to take the order, happy to see you coming and food prepared fresh in no time at all. Loved the food and staff hospitality!

Delicious and fresh! Wonderful soups and outstanding salads. The waiter prepared us that the food would take a while to make, but would be worth it. He was right! Peaceful, perfect ambiance. Great views of the dunes. Space for the kids to roam. Plenty of vegetarian options!

We came here basically by chance for lunch on the road, but the experience was great.
The place is looking new, very clean, and run by nice guys who are also speaking a decent English (which is not a "standard" in Morocco).
We had to wait a bit because the place was empty, and they honestly said that since everything was made fresh, there were 40 minutes. Within 35 minutes, we had a great lunch, served on the terrace with an amazing view on the Merzouga dunes!
Highly recommend.

Great restaurant, had a lovely Moroccan salad with chicken brochette and fries! Always a winner! Staff were warm and friendly and spoke English!

First of all, a very nice welcome with tea and biscuits 🫖🍪 from Ahmed and his brothers, who own the hotel restaurant and shop next door. A wonderful view of the sand dunes and you can have a good conversation, Ahmed can even speak German very well 👍🏻 We would eat the soup again at any time and the salad is delicious and then get tea on the house again 🤌🏻 You have to let us know beforehand about the tajine because they prepare everything fresh themselves and it takes time but it's worth it 😋 Thank you!

The place is so beautiful and the people who run it are such friendly and open hosts. Definitely worth a stay! The rooms are big and bright and clean. The pool and common area is perfect to relax and cool down and the food is so so tasty. If you ask the lovely hosts, they will share amazing music recommendations and the history of amazigh people of the region with you. You are missing out if you don’t stay there!

We went quad biking in the Sahara and had lunch here afterwards. It was great! Delicious salad, chicken, pasta, fruit and tea. And wonderful service from Mohammed. Lovely place!

Awesome meal staff were excellent. We had some time between our desert tour and came for a meal. He grabbed us (Lhoucine) towels and let us use the pool while we waited! Awesome team - great place. Would recommend staying in the attached hotel!

Stopped in for a nice lunch after walking through the gardens nearby. Friendly and welcoming staff. My spouse had the chicken breast and I had the Moroccan salad - both were delicious. I would recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner. Appears to be a nice place to stay as well!
