Wonderful experience looking at beautiful handmade silver and talking with Hassan, the proprietor. He taught us lots of about Moroccan history and culture, Touareg, Berber and Bedouin. He made us feel at ease and even though we chose not to buy anything he was extremely gracious and friendly throughout. More like a museum visit than a shop.

We really enjoyed the experience and got a beautiful, Berber rug at an amazingly good price. It's also great to know your purchase is helping preserve a way of life and keeping a traditional craft alive. The famed nomadic hospitality and interaction with the local people were also singularly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I was scammed here at the shop with a neckless that was supposed to be 925 silver and as you can see it is not at all. Be careful what you purchase here. It has become golden in some areas, after wearing it 6 weeks which clearly shows how I was fooled and it is not silver.
