This was the best accommodation we had in Marocco!! Bed were very comfortable, heating in the room was nice and hot shower too! The dinner was also the best we had compare to all the other restaurants we've been on our holiday. Breakfast was buffet and very delicious! At night the owner and the guys working there played live berber music around the fire which was amazing! The staff is super nice and you feel part of the family after 5 minutes! We were 5 people with two rooms and we will definitely come back!! Thanks and see you soon!

This sun filled little auberge is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. Populated by very friendly cats and run by welcoming and attentive owners, you are sure to find your share of music, laughter and peace at this place.

Easily one of the best hostels we visited in Morroco. Dinner and breakfast were amazing. Highly recommend. Don't miss to walk in the palm groves next to the house.

I stayed in the shared dorm which was sparkling clean. Breakfasts were tasty and I liked that you could use the kitchen to cook your own meals. Owner was friendly and helpful. Garden and outdoor space is very beautiful.

For an extremely affordable price, Retour is a big comfortable space with nice rooms and good facilities.
Karim and Abdel are great guys, Karim sat us down when we first arrived and gave us the rundown on where to eat, what to do, and a brief overview of what it's like as a Berber in modern Morocco. Couldnt be more appreciative of their hospitality and can strongly recommend.

Just the perfect guesthouse!
Clean, confortable, lovely garden and terraces. The food is very good and not so expensive, you can also wash your clothes. The owners and their staff are very friendly as well as respectuous. The staff is nice and friendly as well. Everyone speaks French and English.
From the hostel you can easily reach the different touristic spots of Tinghir (walking distance).
Hot shower and Wi-Fi.

We stayed 3 nights there, perfect place to relax, next to the "palmeraie", a small piece of paradise. The staff is super friendly, always here to make sure everything is all right. We recommend for sure!

Amazing Hostel! The location is great, just on the outskirts of town but 3 minutes walk from markets, bus station, the valley. Beautiful vibe, great staff always willing to help. And I would recommend getting breakfast, it's amazing. Best option in Tinghir

We LOVED this place!! The staff was incredible, made us feel welcome and at home right away. The facilities were super clean. We received towels and toiletries. There's lots of places to chill and relax, indoor and outdoor. We will absolutely stay here again when we're back in Tinghir.

I guess one of the best places to stay in Tinghir. They have a big garden with a hammock and lot of comfy seating areas. The rooms are quite cold but have thick blankets. You can also add an air-con to your booking. In the evening you can stay in the heated common room. The guys running it are really nice and fun , who love to make music in the evenings together. A lot of positive energy in this place.

The hotel is located in a quiet place next to the oasis, but also close to the center .the rooms are nice, stylishly decorated , the owners are very nice .It was a very nice stay

My husband and I have stayed in this lovely hostel for two nights.
It is conveniently located in Tinghir a 5 minutes walk from the bus station.
I have to say it is one of the best places considering it's style and atmosphere that we have been to so far in Morocco. There is a large indoor and outdoor common area and a nice vegetable garden. So it's perfect to socialize with fellow travellers. The internet is so fast you can use the video while on skype (!!). Also everything was very clean (bedsheets, common bathroom etc.).
Unfortunately it was pretty empty while we were there, but maybe it was also just the low season...

The staff is super friendly and helpful, particularily Murat, who is really a little sunshine. He spent a lot of time with us, teaching us Berber words etc. Also quite importantly while they offer to help you arrange excursions, they are fairly descrete about it and will not push you to contract any tour with them (we did everything individually and they were still helpful, telling us where to catch local busses etc.). Having travelled in Morocco for a while we know that some people behave very different.
Also the breakfast ist delecious!
When there was a misunderstanding about the hostelworld booking we managed to solve it with the owner in a friendly and respectful way and I am sure they will improve the description to avoid such sorts of incidents in the future.

Summing up: A good price and a nice and relaxing stay in a friendly atmosphere. I can clearly recommen staying there.

Super friendly hosts. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making sure you feel welcome and are comfortable. Welcome tea, towels, shampoo and soap. Couldn't ask for more. They took the time to answer any questions we had. And didn't try to push any activities on us. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Beautiful garden in the back that we didn't have time to check out.

They’re the most honest Moroccan people I met in 10 days in Morocco. Booked here on December 25th 2019. The big boy took us and helped us with the heavy luggages. We had dinner here at good price. The breakfast included in the room rate. They’re very educated people, we talked with each other and they even taught my husband to play the Berber Drum with them too.
In 10 days in Morocco we were always asked for money, or “good review”... But the people in guest house Retour au calme are different - they are the only one that didn’t ask us for anything. Thank you guys!

Bohemian place with very friendly and entertaining staff. We had a great evening. The room was clean and decorated nicely in berber style. Breakfast was very good. We loved the Bghrir „Berber style“. We miss little Olaf🐶
