Think all the other high reviews says it all.
This was our second visit to Auberge Le Festival Todra Gorge and perfect once again. They accommodated a group of 7 of us and couldn't do more to ensure our stay was perfect.
Of course the main attraction of the hotel is the uniqueness and 'off grid' nature about it - therefore it is worth noting that all rooms are difference and a bit 'rustic' there is no heating or AC and the hot water is from solar tanks. For us this is all part of the character and fun but for some people it is worth noting this is an 'experience' stay rather than a Hilton!

Magical experience. Fully self container via solar power with generator back up. Views and surroundings were spectacular. The room was small but very comfortable. My dinner was my best meal in Morocco. Many levels of decks relax or spend time wandering among the fruit trees and gardens.

Amazing setting. This hotel is in the gorge and it is just outstanding. We stayed in a cave room, and it was magical.
Food was also great and the staff very accomodating. The scenary all around is unbeatable and we liked that it is a bio hotel.
Only thing is that the room was not very clean. We found long hair on one of the pillow and in the bathroom there was discraded toilet paper in the container next to the toilet. Knowing that is common in Morocco to discard used toilet paper in a container instead of the toilet it was definitely not a good impression about the cleaning process.

We had an amazing experience at Le Festival! The staff was really friendly and they served great food! Beautiful location, we had an amazing view over the gorge from our terrace.

We wanted a quiet retreat in the mountains while we were hiking for a few days. Auberge Le Festival was amazing. Quiet and relaxing with views of the mountains all around. The staff were the most welcoming people and the food was excellent. We chose to stay in a cave room which was a great opportunity and a real experience. Will happily return here on our next trip.

The room was great and the location as well. The view of the gorge is just beautiful. Also after dinner we made some music with the people of the auberge, although we were not able to keep up it was a good experience. The food was nice

Amazing place to stay in the Todra Gorge. The view was amazing. The food was expensive but delicious (we had the tajine moussaka). The perfect place for stargazing.

By far our favourite stay during our road trip through Morocco. The location is absolutely gorgeous. Our beautiful, cosy cave room was nice and warm compared to the cold outside temperatures and had a breathtaking view. Diner and breakfast were delicious. The extremely friendly and accommodating staff made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Perched on the side of a picturesque mountain in the Todra Gorge, sits Auberge Le Festival , a magical place both to look at and to stay in. We were lucky to get the last available room when we arrived a day earlier than expected after a disappointing stay in the Sahara. Kareem greeted us with his broad smile and welcoming spirit. Given a tour of the property he left us to freshen up in our comfortable room. We had booked a cave room for the following night but chose to stay in this one for both nights because it was very nice with a big queen bed and two small beds as well. It could have accommodated a family of four. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Outside, the 360 degree view of the mountains overlooking the gorge was breathtaking. We ate all our meals at the Auberge. Every one was excellent, and we appreciated being able to request special preparations. Throughout our stay, not only was Kareem available, but the chef, Salman, and all the other staff were there when we needed them. We cannot imagine a better place to stay, not only for the beauty, but for the warm and exceptional staff. We would love to return! Insha’Allah!

What a beautiful place. You have to drive through the Todra gorge to get there (that is already a wonderful drive) and you get to sleep in a cavelike room. The views are amazing. The service is great as is the food.

I would highly recommend staying here.

They are so friendly and awesome.

*Our vehicle has broken down, they helped us to call the vehicle recovery service.

Because there is no service / No network available, They have a wireless that we used to call someone to help us.

Perfect ✅✅✅✅
Highly commanded.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. We booked it for one night for the unique cave bedroom experience, but found so much more! The hotel had free parking. The cave room is very cool and many other rooms seemed equally unique from the outside. The dinner at the hotel was definitely the best tagine we had in our 12 day trip to Morocco! They provided wine and a very delicious dinner alongside the tagine. The Todra Gorge area is truly beautiful and the hotel is close to many hikes and sights in the gorge! Be aware that the hotel is a good distance from town and a long drive through the gorge so best to arrive before dark and eat at the hotel.

We stayed one night here and it was magnificent! Beautiful cave rooms, delicious food and the best possible view in the neighbourhood. We felt very welcomed and the hospitality of the staff is enormous! They gave us a lot of tips how to hitchhike in the neighbourhood and gave us a glimpse of Morrocon culture. Beware its quite desolate, although easy to reach with car. There is almost no mobile reception and the WiFi isnt the best, but that adds to the experience! Its the best place to come to inner piece!

We had a great stay in Le Festival.
The cave room was beautiful, clean and cosy. Dinner in the restaurant was awesome, great food and atmosphere and above all great people who are really enjoying their work. Thank for the warm welcome and hospitality!

A perfectly situated hotel for those who like the quiet and enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains. Besides being really atmospheric, (resembling a cave), the room was also clean and well maintained. Extensive breakfast and absolutely tasty and nicely served dinner. All together a very fine hotel, but what makes it perfect are the owner and the people who work there. They give off the impression that they are all a big family and they make you feel quite at home. Completely different from the en masse hotels. With special thanks to Mustafa who makes every day a happy and special one. Two very pleased veterinarians ;-) Allemachtig prachtig!

Loved our stay here in the unique cave room. The whole premise was beautiful, the food was extraordinary, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful for us English speakers. This seemed like the nicest hotel option in the area and our expectations were exceeded.

One of the highlights of our stay in Morocco. It’s right in the middle of the valley with nothing around it. The architecture is amazing and it feels like your staying in a homestead but with great facilities.

This place is magical. It would be worth a trip to Morocco just to go here. My family of four had two connecting castle turrets to stay in. The views of the mountains from the hotel are fabulous. The food was terrific. Everything was so affordable. The highlight of our stay was when one of the men working at the hotel, Abdul, took us for an amazing hike up into the mountains and to visit with a Berber family. The scenery was fabulous and Abdul was wonderful to talk with and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this hotel and this region of Morocco.
